Each of the subclasses remind me of the fates from greek mythology. One spins the thread (hunters), one measures and dispenses the thread of one’s life (warlocks summoning threadlings, which are living threads of strand), and one severs the thread (titans).

Thunder crash is one of the best burst dps in the game, as well as blade barrage. Doesn’t seem that warlocks have a way to suspend enemies. Probably because warlock stasis is so good for that. The other classes needed this more. Let’s just hope warlocks aren’t gimmick at launch like they usually are

@@marvinvogtde are you sure? Threadlings explode. the melee unravels. The super also just explodes and unravels I haven’t seen the fragments mention suspension at all. You’re going to have to consume your entire grenade and defeat an enemy in order to suspend which just won’t be viable in pvp.

@@marvinvogtde ye sorry. Yeah pve will be nice for sure. But warlocks in stasis launch, and still, have no way to shatter stasis crystals. Which was core to how viable it was at launch. If you couldn’t shatter what was the point. Now it’s better, but I just have the same feeling that warlocks look really really cool, but if they can’t suspend what’s gonna be the point. Cause titans, and hunters especially, can take you out of mobility at the click of a button, which is why stasis was frustrating. It’s not like threadlings are gonna leave the ground, which is where enemies are most of the time

All I know is I will likely avoid PVP for the 1st week or 2.. I think they are capping when they say it is not as busted as stasis. It looks worse. You can tether across a map.. Imagine spawning in and you are instantly suspended.. HELL NO!!

Thats not true. Into the Fray - Into the Fray allows for titans to grant themselves and their allies the Woven Mail buff when destroying a Tangle. Bungie has revealed the melee ability for Berserker Titan, which is Frenzied Blade, Frenzied Blade allows a Titan to dash forward and slash enemies with their blades, applying Sever. Frenzied Blade can hold up to three charges, so Titans can use it in quick succession to dash from enemy to enemy. Sever is a debuff that makes enemies deal less damage.

They had so much opportunity to go out of the box with strand and yet they don't think through the titans, even in the name it sounds like they dont care, it took me 2 seconds to think of "threadbreaker" or "dethreader" and both if them seem more on-topic than Berserker. Titans could have had some interesting supers, like maybe reaching through the threads and tightening them to pull enemies apart (it could work on a "highlighted enemy" system or on a conical area infront of them, and boom, ranged titan super) it would also then keep with the idea of titans binding enemies, as there could be a bind/restrain option, and tighten/tear option (its still light attack/heavy attack but at least its unique, and even for pvp if people want to complain a ranged multishot instakill super is too op then I refer them to the gunslingers and mobius quiver nightstalkers) titans just don't feel like the warrior class we're supposedly built up to be

I'm just so disappointed with titan strand (and stasis but that was 2 years ago). Every other class looks dope and has all this unique stuff to set them apart. We get 3 melees (5 with armamentarium and grapple nades), and "a light attack and a heavy attack". If the 6th subclass is another melee super I'm gonna commit toaster bathtub

I've often thought about how different D1 and D2 would be if there was never any pvp and they just focused on the other aspects of the game. That said since they put it in anyway it is kind of astounding how little content pvp gets despite the game's continued success. And how many years has it been since gambit got an update lol? Also as a titan main I'm incredibly disappointed at how lame the strand super is, especially knowing about the concept art of a strand minigun/ harpoon gun thing that looks way more interesting that green fist of havoc.

PvP is absent because it will be BROKEN AF and if that’s the case, people will not buy the expansion. Also, as a Titan main, I get the “random bullshit go” statement about supers, but the more I se the berserker, the more I see wolverine’s claws even the stance reminds me of Wolverine. Also the Titan’s role in strand is to cut the threads, like the Greek fates. It would be kinda goofy to Have the Titan carry a big ol’ scissors Maybe they should’ve given him guts big ass sword but we already have swords in the game. Oh, but they could be so much more my friend. Bungie admitted that they are having trouble creating abilities to deal with far away enemies becuase they decided that Titans are the Punch Class. If they changed that, just a wee bit, to make Titans more of a Warrior class I bet they could open the flood gates of Creativity. We already have Hammer and Shield which isn't what people normally think for the Punch class to have, so they just need to extend that. Imagine having our Titan Subclasses being based off of Real World Historical Warrior archetypes. Arc can stay as the tride and true Punch Subclass, but change it so its faster and more fluid movement like a Boxer and/or Make Fist of Havoc give the 'Jolt' debuff to the Titan. Hear me out, when the Titan takes damage they will act like a mobile Conductor, sending chain-lightning all over the place and to make sure the Titan doesn't die have them partially heal after every kill, because Knockout does that all by itself and its a melee activated Aspect. This will give the Titan a real Thor Ragnarok type of feel mixed with 'Too Angry To Die' which if that doesn't sound Titan, I don't know what is. Which by the way, basing a Subclass off of Fictional Heros like Marvel's Thor shouldn't be an issue since they got Void's whole Purple Captain America thing going on. Stasis can have Dual Short-Axes based off of the Vikings all about creating Crystals with one Axe and Breaking them in waves with the other. Or mabye a Front facing attack where a Wall of Pointed Crystals are sent by the Titan. Basically the Howl of the Storm Aspect but no sliding necessary and way bigger. Strand could have a Trident and Net, focusing on midrange combat to long range when the Trident is thrown and trapping enemies or bosses with the net inflicting 'Sever' and 'Unravel' when they die, based off of Roman Gladiators. Bungie is trying to be creative with Titan, but they are unnecessarily bottle-necking themselves trying to stay true to their vision of the Punch Class they stuck Titan on to. That Well is as Wide as an Ocean, but Deep as a Puddle and that is why so many Titans are bored and frustrated right now.

I wanted a Threaded Greatsword. Light Attack would be a Sword Swing, Heavy Attack would swing the blade as a Whip, the Grenade would be converted into a Scorpion Styled "GET OVER HERE!" thrust that either reels enemies in to you or grapples you over to them.

Yeah, no. PvP is not a gamemode that needs to be addressed like the PvE aspect of Destiny. PvE is what the game thrives on, Bungie can use that gamemode to tell the players about the story, about the threats like the witness, make awesome campaigns and really get us immersed into the Destiny universe. PvP well, it's just shoot other guardians, where is the fun in that? If you want a PvP game, then play a game that's heavily PvP based. Right now, Destiny is a heavy PvE game with PvP as a side gamemode which allows you to get powerful rewards to enhance your characters level and new weapons, that's it, there is nothing more to it.

They haven’t showed any PVP gameplay because strand is busted in PVP 😂 you can suspend people in the air for free kills like freezing does with stasis…. everyone should’ve known from the beginning it was gonna be busted. PVP in D2 is a tacked on joke of a mode anyway so i’m not too fussed tbh, D2 is a PVE game primarily, anyone saying otherwise is delusional at this point, PVP gets what…. 1 new map a year? come on now lmao Edit: apparently you can still fight back when you’re suspended in the air, albeit with a movement penalty, still gonna be broken though, so w.e. lol

Here's my reasoning why Titans are less focused on these videos. The strand idea for Titan is just obvious thus less focus and reasoning. Titan's strand is basically to cut or sever the strings. Meanwhile you will need to go more indepth to explain how Warlock or Hunter strand works lore or creation wise.

I don't know what are you so salty about each time they release a new video on Lightfall. We had pretty much zero new info in this one on the subclasses themselves, only one clip of stunning a champion is new, but we knew from before that Strand will be able to stun Champions too. The coolest part of the video is the sound design process, but you didn't seem to mention that. No matter how berserker plays on launch, you will never enjoy it because you already have a personal bias about it. I'm a Warlock main, and, for instance, they didn't mention a word about Broodweavers or Threadlings while I find it to be a really interesting part from the design perspective. From what I can tell, you're not a Titan main at heart, but still play the class due to your laziness to Invest into other classes. Just switch to some other class and move on, for real. Warlocks don't have a single melee super, do I cry about it? No, because I simply don't enjoy them. All of my true Titan mains admitted that while Berserker doesn't look as good as Threadrunner, they are looking forward to it so much. Most of the people who complain about Titans as much as you do are normally the ones who switch to Titans during the 3.0 rework due to them being busted af in every gamemode, and now just can't seem to be able to leave their HOIL crutch. Titans fantasy has always been about infusing their body with light - darkness. It makes complete sense that they prefer to rely on being able to close the distance to compensate for the guns they use instead of trying to create a minigun which they already might have as a weapon. How ridiculous is this shi? It's not green lantern game, man People nowadays just can't seem to be able to form their real opinion, but rather copy it from others to have a sense of connection to people (I'm not saying it's true with you).

Let me stop you right there. I’ve said in multiple videos now that I will probably enjoy the subclass regardless but that isn’t an excuse for the lack of creativity. I’m a Titan main for a reason. I like to punch shit. I was a warlock main in D1 until dark below, I switched to Titan and never looked back. My favorite subclass in the entire game is the Gun Slinger, I have a whole video dedicated to it actually that was supposed to be released yesterday but the developer insight took precedence. Also my channel was founded on sound design and music. I’m a musician, that’s what my channel was supposed to be but I course corrected into gaming. The Lightfall soundtrack and sound design will have it’s own video dedicated to it but I need more than the 2 songs we’ve heard. I’m just waiting. So far you’ve been wrong about every assumption you’ve made about me, which is fine, because how could you? You don’t know me. Sorry I’m unhappy with your favorite class right now but trust me there are other things that will be talked about, I just can’t make every video ever at the same time. Want an insider secret? My next 3 videos are on solar hunter,arc warlock, and warlock’s identity being spread around to the other classes.

Side note warlocks don’t have a “melee” super but they do have 2 roaming close quarter supers. How often do you see either of them being played? Not very often huh? Almost like roaming close quarters supers are second fiddle on every class, but there’s only one class in the game where 6/8 of the supers rely on CQC, just saying mate. Just sit back and watch the channel it’s not at all what you think. Or don’t it’s up to you. Just letting you know your assumptions are inaccurate.
