To be honest, I think DA and narc abuse are the same. And unfortunately there is still shame and eye rolling for DA, the whole "was it really that bad?", "I'm sure he was just stressed with work", "what did you do to make him so mad?", "can't have been that bad if you stayed so long" etc etc

I'm from Canada. What is your advice? Same here being bullied, mobbed, gaslighting, harassed at the hospital for over 14 years. I've happened to be the top worker for 39 years and have never been suspended. These bullies are jealous haters and are very miserable people. Union, manager, HR and the police are all totally useless. Bullies are lazy bums and stupid managers are scared of the bullies. They say I'm crazy, I drink, I'm a stalker who follows women after work. All bs defamation of character. The biggest mistake since they removed disciplinary measures. They should arrest the bullies and fire the manager. Action speaks louder than nasty words. It destroys my reputation. I will never quit to make these lazy bums ever win. If I decide to transfer to another hospital and may start gaslighting, smearing and bullying me once again, I don't know all the new managers etc. like in every department like now. So best to not change hospitals. I will never let bullies try to control me from quitting. Just don't react and don't try to defend myself which will only go back and forth making me look even more guilty. Action always speaks louder than words. Just best to ignore them and let them find another easier target. Never let these low life lazy bums ever win.

Because most people don’t actually know what pathological narcissistic personality disorder is. They just think it’s some bloke who loves himself, takes heaps of selfies, boasts about himself etc They don’t understand the abuse cycle around it, the sub categories like covert narcissists and it’s too hard for them to understand the abuse impact. Some of the abuse is so unbelievable that they automatically assume you are lying. There is also a deep seated hatred for women in society, it’s underlying and pervasive.

Humans do not understand what they have not themselves experienced. Unless a person has been abused they will not, cannot understand your situation.

If you look at court records, the very few DA cases that are convicted, there are a miniscule amount of perpetrators who plead guilty, and of those, almost all there is an overwhelming amount of evidence and they're pleading guilty to look for a reduced sentence. There are no DA perps from the court ordered courses who change their behaviour or show remorse - which is why the UK courts no longer send them on the courses. If we're talking about a one off assault, that could be a non narcissistic perp, perhaps an alcoholic or drug addict, but prolonged emotional, sexual, financial or physical abuse can only be perpetrated by someone with narcissistic traits. And narcissist is being used more because 1) there is more education because of the Internet, 2) there are more people speaking up and 3) increase in narcissists because of current state of society

The criteria for C&C here in the UK is ridiculous. Sky high, and they feel that people off the street (jurors) just wouldn't get it. There are campaigns for these kind of trials to be overseen by qualified therapists rather than lay people, which I think will help increase the conviction rate

Someone said npd can be defence to bpd for some people. I think my ex-wife was like that.
