Having failed Gabby at every turn, and then allowing her killer to simply waltz away, I would say that at this juncture they have no answers. At least none that would make any sense. This is a failure at so many levels, and as usual, no one will ever be held accountable for their mistakes. If anything, the people in charge of this fiasco of an "investigation" will probably be promoted.

If there was any other suspect or person of interest, than Brian would have reported her missing, dead, etc. He drove home as fast as he could and the family stone walled the authorities and went camping and let Brian leave the house on his own and never return. It has pure guilt written all over it, and there is no other person of interest. North Port did a terrible job surveilling Brian and family. The poor Petitio's are the ones suffering.

I agree. I think Brian was developing mental illness which drove him to show all those personality changes, anger to fight w Gabby and uncontrolled actions. He became a different person at 24. That is prime age when mental illness develops for most people. His parents were already in Witness Protection living a quiet life when all this erupted. That's why no talking to Gabbie's parents, or the police, or the press. Then the parents 'found' Brian's bag, then his 'remains' were found nearby. Now the parents have slipped quietly off the radar.
