Comparing MC to a average predator isn’t really fair tbh. At best the predator if we’re going off the first movie as an example is a spec ops (Active camouflage) Elite from CE. Master chief walks through them like nothing and he is in his Mark V armour. Even if we don’t use MC and use another S2 like Jerome it still isn’t fair on the predator. maybe Wolf from AVP would be more interesting but yeah MC win like 9/10 times. But I do think blue team vs 100 predators would be fun to watch.

No, I don’t think so. A well placed fully charged plasma Caster shot could totally disabled their shields and then at that point the elites advantage is pretty much gone. Not to mention the predators biomask allows them to see in different spectrums of vision so there’s no way they could use camo against them.

Chief is too fast and strong. He has had similar medical procedures as Logan. The Spartan II’s are super durable, strong, fast and can basically see in the dark. They are somewhere between Logan and Captain America without the armor. The suit adds an entire dimension. Logan is a living weapon made by nature and made more deadly by science but Chief is engineered for war in all facets.

Predators have also dodged lasers and they have plasma based melee weapons that can’t be stopped by normal matter. And a power suit if there own. Plus it’s been determined that like 80% of halos guns aren’t practical compared to moderns guns in real life.

What sci-fi guns are realistic? Master chief has standard human weapons life rifles, rocket launchers and others. What’s unrealistic about that? I’m not too well versed in predator or alien lore just watched a few movies. But I haven’t seen them have armor on the same level as master chief. Chief has a shield that protects the armor itself. Getting hit by predators most lethal weapon would only crack his shield and then he would still have all his armor. Plus is predator doesn’t instantly press chief then the shield regenerates. Only way I see predator winning is if he got close enough to chief to stab him straight through which is most likely not happening. He can’t sneak up on chief they literally have invisible aliens that he fights. Chief has fought way stronger aliens that predator. It’s not really close tbh.

I think the biggest factor in this fight is something you didn't even mention. Predator culture is very focused on honor. Many of the canonical deaths of predators have been due to them underestimating their opponents due to their need for "honorable kills".

@@mad_man_savage452 that is assuming that it is the chief noticing the predator from the start, predators do not blindly strike out at the beginning, they watch and test from concealment prior to actually doing anything. The chief would be watched for quite sometime before doing anything to reveal itself, especially if it is an older predator that values patience far more than a young blood. Aside from cortana, all of chief's advantages would be known to a predator before any attack while most likely chief would not have much info on who is even there. It is debateable on how effective a plasma caster would be in comparison to covenant plasma weapons although from what biased showing we have seen so far the caster is far more powerful so far so miljnor suits may not hold up as well as is believed. Then there is the myriad of the other known and unknown array of predator weapons, would be extremely foolish to say chief will win without doubt, it would be interesting to see if it were to happen which way it would go.

Nothing in predator universe is close to the flood. The flood are xenomorphs but worse. Chief has fought invisible aliens before so I don’t think predators camouflage will do much tbh. His armor still has the shield so the blaster would most likely only knock that off and that would only be a few seconds before it comes back on. And that thing isn’t the most discreet weapon so chief could dodge it. It might be a little closer of a fight if it’s an older predator but chief still wins 8 times out of 10. If not 9 times out of 10.

You also are neglecting the fact that the covenant were religiously motivated for the most part, those type of rarely prioritize any serious tactics so to say the chief is supreme from the start is just plain arrogant. I personally do not have a favorite in any match up like this, too little concrete info since each is purely fictional and the writers, much less the fans, rarely have the capacity of giving each side a fair shake or consistent properties across story installments.

a predator has hundreds of years worth of experience compared to chiefs few years of experience. Scarface in concrete jungle alone was thrown on a planet for 100 years and was expected to live on it with just a spear against deadly wild life and that was basically like just another tuesday for him. He looked like he didn't even age. Theres predators that only go to war like the Vangaurd and Hellblazers. The predators have also begun to augment themselves to be around 9 or 10 feet tall and are stronger then ever. The predators also have a rocket launcher sized beam gun like the covanent rocket launcher sized weapon. They are so stealthy they can get the drop on Batman who in turn can get the drop even on Superman. Predator gets first hit. Plus the predator will set up the area with traps like mines and trip wires or predator level bear traps before attacking. Chances are chief may not even see the predator unless he throws down his guns and challanges it to a fist fight to the death.
