The guy who made the video didn't mention that Pakistan was Muhammed Jinnah's idea. The British just listened to him and agreed that Muslim Indians would not be given fair treatment in a Hindu majority nation, and deserved to have their own country. The only stupid part about it was Jinnah's attempts to destroy Bangladeshi culture, which was then East Pakistan.

British partitioned India after world war 2, why? Whole idea of partition was due to prevent soviet influential in India and deny India access to central Asia. So the creation of Pakistan as buffer zone was necessary for British policy maker. So English jacked to Islamist India to ask for freedom and that give reason for partition. Western narrative is to blame religion division but that was not the real case. Victor write the history and it twisted indeed.

@@thewaiguoren1609 I dunno, they seem to make lots of sense to me. His main point is that Pakistan's geography either works against it, or does not benefit it. Some points he made in the vid are: -That the British's way of arbitrarily dividing the countries placed Pakistan in a position where it would be in direct opposition with India, he then proceeds to describe the conflicts that arose from this problem. -He then states that should conflict ever escalate, Pakistan's non-existent geographical defenses would work against it, the Indian army could punch through the easily traversable terrain quickly, and many of Pakistan's population centers are near the border to India, which means a victory will be much easier for them. -He goes on to say that since Pakistan has so few major ports, and the biggest one being reliant on the oil from the strait of Homurz to keep the money rolling, so it would be easy to blockade Pakistan. He makes a lot more points throughout the video, and all of them make a lot of sense to me. All of this is pretty easy to digest.

Think the Polish corridor before WW2, except so large that the eastern part inevitably seceded.

Having East Pakistan was a huge strategic advantage for us. If adequate military assets would have been placed there we could have waged a two front war against India. All of this while West Pakistan tag teams from their side. I have no idea why Pakistan passed this golden chance up, especially when you have military leaders. Lmaooo. The British drawing borders: *reality can be whatever I want it to be*
@petercharles8799
@petercharles8799 4 жыл бұрын
The partition of India is a ridiculously complicated issue, but initially Britain wanted to keep India united. What changed circumstances was demands for a separate Muslim state and elections in 1945 and 1946 that saw the Muslim League win in what is now Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Partition lines were drawn by a 5 person commission, with two members each from the Congress Party and the Muslim League and chaired by Cyril Radcliffe. The whole situation was a rushed mess and a reminder that borders should be drawn by and in consultation with those who live in the effected communities, not by powerful politicians.

@The Engineer Guy I'm Pakistani Pashtun and literally, no one here has the desire to reunite with Afghanistan. In 1947, when Pakistan was created there was a poll in KPK (Pashtun majority region) and no one wanted to join Afghanistan, in fact, the prime minister of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai was an ISI agent and worked for Pakistan when he resided in Quetta basically India is using Afghanistan against Pakistan so the afghans esp the Pashtuns side with India all the time. The other ethnic groups do not want this to happen since pashtuns are always dominating Afghanistan and adding kpk will further worsen the situation. We have a soft heart for the pashtuns of Afghanistan and we know the govt of Afghanistan has to be pro-Pakistani. This is one of the reason why pakistan has supported the Taliban in the past, unfortunately. Also, majority afghans don't like Indians mainly because they're racist and think of them as low beings lol they have beef because historically speaking afghans have ruled India many times. As far as Iran is considered we never had beef with them basically pakistan is neither Sunni or shia sometimes we have Sunni govt and many times Shia we're not that hateful with each other due to this the shia govt of Iran does not bother our government.

I’d like to tell that, Kashmir is an integral part of India. The Whole Kashmir. (check out the Instrument of Annexation signed between India and Kashmir). A part of it was illegally occupied by Pakistan in 1948, a year after independence of both the countries. They advanced their army, in the form of Tribals, and were close to occupy Srinagar, the capital city of Kashmir. It was then the instrument of annexation was signed and Indian Armed Forces took the charge. As the army began to thrash tha Pak’s Army back, UN interfered and asked to control and maintain ceasefire and that (new)border that is not accepted by India, came to be known as Line of Control. (Not an international border as said). It’s 2022 now, and this issue is stands unresolved between both the countries. There is a lot more about proxy wars and Bleed India with Thousand cuts theory (google), cross border terrorism, radicalisation.. much more. But we’ll take back POK(Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) someday! It belongs to us Indians. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

@@mehboobgeegee7063 1. You’re right. It was We who went to the UN as we hoped that the UN would listen to the truth and do justice and in order to maintain the status quo, would tell the Pak Army to retreat. But unfortunately, UN failed miserably at it. 2. But failure of the UN turned out to be a blessing for Pakistan, as it was due to the UN only that we could not then take our part back. Otherwise what happened in 1965, 1971, 1999 could have happened a long ago in 1948 only. We could have enjoyed the tea at Lahaur much much earlier. 3. After being responsible for decades of Islamic radicalisation in Kashmir Valley(only), you’re now indicating to a plebiscite in Kashmir. I wouldn’t shake my head in disbelief for real. We had Kashmir in 1948 and that’s when it became an undivided part of the Indian Union. 4. Look at your Home now. Baluchistan is gonna be a reality soon. Generations have spent their life in distress. You can’t feed people with hatred all through their lives. Common people want peace and prosperity, not religious fanaticism. And if you can’t part ways with Baluchistan, we can do it for you ( Remember East Pakistan ---> Bangladesh in 1971) 5. A USD costs 205 Pakistani Rs as of July1, 2022. You have become China’s Territory. Evergreen FATF Member, Home to more than 90% Terrorists in the world including Osama Bin Laden, Government is a puppet in the hands of Army and ISI, No foreign Policy what so ever, Recently proclaimed Rape Emergency in Punjab, You’re on the verge of Economic Collapse but still can’t get over Kashmir. 6. My heart goes out to the common people of Pakistan that are spending their life in misery. I wish them peace, prosperity, happiness, money, education, upliftment… but not Kashmir. 7. I will not reply to you now. and if you have a lil self respect, you too won’t. PS: Vacate POK before we snatch it back!
