The Battle of Coruscant was an unprecedented clash above the capitol of the galaxy. Republic and Separatist forces clashed at point-blank rage, leading to one of the most brutal battles in all of the Clone Wars.

In the Revenge of the Sith novel it was even more brutal. Battleships fell on both sides and crashed into Coruscant. Considering the planet is one giant city it turned large city areas into massive craters. Millions of people were killed.

The F'd up thing is Dooku told Obi-Wan that a sith Lord was in charge of the senate in Attack of the Clones when he was captured. Obi-Wan seems to have made some serious judgment calls with the intel he had obtained, had he just shared said intel with the council, things may have turned out differently.

The Battle of Coruscant is still THE BEST space battle and opening of any Star Wars film in my personal opinion. It was TCW in live-action and had the right amount of spectacle, comedy, action, drama everything that makes a SW sequence breathtaking. 🤍

The addition of the drums to the intro gave me goosebumps. It felt very melancholic, like this was it.

As I was a kid when Star Wars came out, and seeing that huge Star Destroyer was epic. That being said, the opening battle of Revenge of the Sith was pretty awesome.

Yeah it was a dark battle the film of revenge of the sith does a good job in showing the damage on both sides loved this breakdown bro🤝
