Every word spoken in this video is worth gold. We all assumed people are just good people and projected our own standards and values on them. Which never worked with a narcissist. And of course they could not totally hide it, but we thought we must be mistaken, and we never wanted to do injustice to anyone. So we stayed in it, gave them the benefit of the doubt. Until the moment where something broke, the final straw - I remember the moment from all my narcissistic relationships. It only became clear to me in hindsight, but the inner resolve to get out, started in that moment, even if it was a process, always dragging on. As you said, we have to do it "in our own time". We are all still here because in spite of the constant onslaught of abuse something within us did not die. Well, not everyone is that lucky. I count my blessings every day.

Narcissists are emotionally one-dimensional. They lack depth, integrity, a sense of honour, and the ability to respect others. They cannot be introspective because if they were, they'd be suicidal. I've dealt with quite a few narcs, not only in romantic relationships, but roommates, family and business colleagues. They live on the knife-edge, terrified to look within because they know that what they'll see is a gaping bottomless abyss of misery. The only thing a narc willingly shares with others is that misery. That's one thing that they'll pour out in an unending supply. I intend to avoid them as much as possible. I don't want what they're selling. I've lived through many difficult situations, none of which have caused me to lose the ability to be loving and kind to others. Narcissists never had that ability and that is dreadful and shocking to behold.

Healing is happening in my life. This July makes 4 years since I left him. He will never find another woman like me. He had it made, but I was not enough. I gave my heart and soul. Helped him start a business from nothing, and when he became successful he told me he didn't need me anymore. When I first met him he had nothing. I helped him with so much. Now, he is remarried, living with her in my house, still making plenty of money with the business. He had a good lawyer. It's okay though, because I'm free now, and God is my source. This one made me cry because the narcissist who was in my life the longest was my mother. When we were 17 my best friend said to me "Do you not think that really she just doesn't care?" I couldn't LET that be true. I have quite a creative brain and kept thinking of new approaches over the decades which might have positive results. I kept "putting myself in her shoes"and trying to be kinder and more considerate and flexible. I wish I'd known long ago that we thought fundamentally differently. I had worked out she liked to be the centre of attention so when she was dying I thought we could have "precious time" like I'd had with my cat when the vet advised she only had a little bit of time left. I thought as my mother would absolutely be the centre of attention that she'd be pleased. She was worse than ever! I'm not sure why - maybe because I could love people and be myself and she couldn't? It is definitely an utterly miserable way to live but others suffer so much because of them too.

I am so proud of all of us here that we have remained authentic and true to our giving, caring, honest, compassionate and empathic selves, through all the invalidation and pre-meditated abuse. More strength comes in the knowing, and at that point, our exit plans and beautiful future aspirations and unencumbered life plans begin to blossom and not wither. (A reference to your daily flowers).. Ahhhhh to breath again…..And don’t worry about triggering any of us Andrew, it’s just necessary tough love and group VALIDATION which we all so desperately need, to remember that all of that gaslighting, blame shifting, stonewalling, word salad, lying, cheating, soul stealing, projected BULLSHIT was REAL AF (excuse my French) and now that we have radically accepted that they are EE’s (I coined a new term today-evil entities! I find it impossible at this point to refer to him as a person), we can forgive our temporary blindness (we are decent human beings after-all) and do the personal work toward external and internal freedom from them and perhaps also, from our own inner child and codependency (or as Dr Ross Rosenberg states, “self-love deficient (SLD) struggles. No wonder so many of them end up alone at the end.of their lives (or they have to guilt-trip or manipulate someone into being there for them.) They blow up relationships and they just don’t care. Then they blame you and tell you that there is something wrong with YOU. They are amazing creatures: predatory and dangerous. They are chameleons who transform themselves, like a shapeshifter, into your perfect match and then once you are committed and invested, their true nature comes out. And then watch out! This video is a great reality check and pep talk!

So true. They never cared, never loved. He was always looking for outside attention after a certain point in the relationship. When he was demoted at his job and wasn’t required to travel as much (that was where, I later realized, he was obtaining much supply from his clients!) he couldn’t bear to stay home. He’d roam around all day…running “errands” in town, visiting the retired neighbors, going out for breakfast. I had no problem with his hobbies, time with the “guys”, helping other people, etc. But it becomes evident after awhile when the narc desires to spend zero time with their spouse…unless he needs the spouse for “show” at a local event, party, social function, etc. If only I’d known about narcissism then, I’d have saved myself so much grief! Thanks for your videos!

It’s happening to me right now, I think. It’s my Sister in Law, and I can’t tell if it’s narcissism I’m dealing with, or if she’s a sociopath. Thank goodness that my Husband sees that we’re dealing with an actual monsters , and is working with me to defend ourselves from her malicious lies, and booby traps. I feel like I have been pretty smart about who I’ve brought into my life, and specifically her type of high drama liar & taker, but this one came through the backdoor - extended family. I cannot tell my Husband to stay away from his Sister because we are a close family in most ways. We are trying to keep her at a safe distance, but she keeps closing in because she has designs for her future that involves much manipulation & creation of false narratives about us, primarily me. She’s been manipulating her Brother for decades, and I am an obstacle to that , and she is not happy about it. I’m at my wits end with this, tbh. Thanks for listening.

Mine is like the "lady galatria" (from lord of the rings, the good forest witch) when frodo offers her the ring and she goes apeshit crazy. My narc is a narc-jezzebel and is ultra bipolar. Either a childlike infantile little sweet inocent girl, or a variation of manipulative go-getter who easily avalanches to different stages of violent dramatic expressions until she literaly screams in rages exactly like the "lady galatria". I gave her a name "Dragon-Doll-Z". And... yes, I married her. And yes, I am in a terrible crux. One thing I was happy to learn is to sincerily and very truly "Let go and let GOD". Now it is either go thru imigration process to divorce her after she becomes legal and able to work and travel, or divorce now and leave her with no papers no work or travel capabilities. Either way this is beyond myself and I'm very fortunate to have a strong relationship with THE SPIRIT OF LIFE AND TRUTH Who guides, protects and drives me. HE will handle this matter and instruct me along the way. A few years ago when this narc-jez situation drove me to a nervous breakdown, I did 2 things. I busted into a pack of american spirit cigarettes to stop the nervous breakdown, and then I fell to my knees in prayer and submission before our HOLY FATHER OF LIGHTS AND LIFE, and surrendered to HIM all I was and begged HIM to take charge of me instead of me. I knew YESHUA JESUS CHRIST and in HIS Name I asked HOLY FATHER and HE answered me, and HE took the situation from despair to strengthening. HE has made me stronger, wiser, more knowledgeable, more prudent, giving, patient, forgiving, also more resolute. Since then my narc goes crazy because the devil lost his grip of me. And with my MIGHTY FORTIFIER Driving me, HE steers me out of danger and out of her puppet strings. So, now just awaiting HIS instructions on the last steps to take guided by HIM. Anyway, thanks for reading this. It feels good to share this :) Look Up, Be Up, Pray Up, Stay Up, and Speak Up!!! Peace.

I'm sorry to hear about your doomed marriage to a Jezebel Spirit but thank you so much for sharing your testimony, Jack. Happy to see that the Lord gave you discernment since you know in your heart that a divorce with her is inevitable (the children of God are not supposed to be yoked with the agents of satan). I didn't get married but in my case, I was a lukewarm believer before my relationship with the Narc, and since crying out to the Lord when I was distressed and heartbroken, I've turned into a strong, God-fearing, born again! The number of people who found God or grew in faith because of a narcissist relationship is staggering and it's not a coincidence ==> Genesis 50:20 "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." May God bless you brother, and may He continue to help you find solace, hope, peace and strength in Him. I pray that He guide you in your last decision regarding your Jezebel Spirit wife, soon to be ex wife. Stay faithful Jack, and like you said so rightfully "Let go and let God". Peace and many blessings to you 🙏🏽

I said no, in a direct, non-apologetic, assertive way. I'm not a people pleaser anymore. If you mess with me, I walk away. Period. Thanks, Andrew, for empowering me to reclaim myself from others who think they can control me. Right now everyone I meet that tries to jerk me around is going to get instantly cut out of my life, because dealing with my stbx narc has taught me not to let people do that to me anymore.

It's not even worth the energy of trying to figure it out. When you think about it the love bomb is so strong in the beginning but starts to have holes in it really pretty early on, which looking back is so telling that something wasn't right. On the flip side when things start out with holes but then keep getting better and better that feels just as telling but in a much healthier way. No relationship is perfect, but the feeling is much different. Absolutely no comparison.

I am trying to understand, looking for answers. And it's only making everything worse. I need to stop this altogether. It's making me upset, mad, and not going anywhere. It's amazing how those people make empty promises, then discard you like they never ever knew you, and completely disappear!!! No face to face conversation, and that's after promising to marry you etc. I will never understand this.
@ameliaruehlen91472 жыл бұрын
I had a similar experience Katya. He said all the "marriage stuff." Then gladly threw me out of the house overnight (literally) and never spoke to me again....absolutely crazy. I remember Andrew once said when they leave they also "take the hamster wheel." 💯 And you're right- thinking about it only makes it worse. I've found that when I do think about it, I journal and try to get the feelings out regarding that horrible discard day. I can say I am much stronger today than I was a month ago and the month before that. 🙏

@@katyams Hang in there Katya. It all comes down to supply. That's why this video is so great, because we don't think like them in any shape or form, so we will never fully understand. When it became clear that I wouldn't be physically able to have children due to an illness, I was trashed. For some time he continued to state that this wasn't affecting our love and our couple in any way. Words. Actually, he was rarely with me when I had exams or consultations. Actions. He even told me that we would better stop our medical insurance in order to save money because "it was useless to have it" (I had blood work and consultations every month at the time). With narcissists words don't match with actions. And, cherry on top, when I broke broke up with him, he told me that "honestly, the couple wasn't in good health when you had the miscarriages". Clearly, once more, it was all my fault 👍

Thinking that these people can justify to themselves going from situations, scenes, is that it is (in their mind) part of a scenes in a play. Life is a play and they carry the acting role to each new act. WE all left during intermission - escaped. sans emotion sans empathy - AS in Shakesphere - All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.
