AC Milan's Tijjani Reijnders is currently the best central midfielder in the world. He ripped apart Madrid by himself. Little known fact is that Xavi contacted the player personally last season to get him to sign for Barca but instead we opted for the aged Gundo, a player we let go for free while still on a contract (another world first for Barca). Say what you want about Xavi, but he had a eye for players and he never had the board's backing, they never signed a player he wanted.

The signings I think we need immediately: Juve's Andrea Cambiaso an elite full back who can play on both sides - because we never replaced the gap left by Cancelo. A central midfielder like Tijjani Reijnders or Enzo Fernandez. A monster defensive midfielder to make sure we are not overrun by more physical and stronger teams in the midfield, like Atalanta's Éderson. These are the immediate priorities. A LW, a CAM (because Olmo is only available for one third of the season's games) and a CF in the long-term.

I can swear with everything Gerard Martin wouldn't have seen first team football under Xavi. He has eye for high quality footballers. Nico is very unlikely as Barca has a *you only get one chance to accept* policy. Mo Salah is just rumors, and Leao might possibly be using Barca as leverage for a massive contract renewal with AC Milan. I think they will sign a different Left winger, one that is Young but underrated in othe clubs.

The goal with signing Salah is to have Quality depth in Yamal's position. As for the topic of egos I think it should be the case of whoever is performing best plays and when they need rest we rotate them

Barca can't afford Salah, he will also not want to be a bench player, Yamal development is much more important. That's why we need a world class left winger who can do what Yamal does at the right wing, and if Yamal gets injured (god forbid) we can always use Rapha on the right.

@fatih8053 That's a potential option. My take is sorta a best case scenario. Just because Yamal is so young and has a long career ahead of him, but he needs to develop properly first. We can't just throw him into every game and depend on him. He is still growing and can be prone to injury at this stage. So it's a good idea to have a tested veteran like Salah to take over the main role for a bit or just provide cover for the position while being someone Yamal can learn from and improve his game. It's always good to have competition, and I think it will push Yamal to reach his potential even faster.

There's no point discussing transfers, tactics, form etc. when every game Barca is involved produces a scandal with the refereeing decisions against them, and when there's no Madrid game without scandalous decisions in their favor. What really makes me mad is the complete unwillingness of the board and Laporta to protect the team and in the end the players' physical well-being. We had Balde leaving coughing blood and Cubarsi getting stomped and bleeding with no fouls or cards. Are Madrid, La Liga executives, referee commissions happy with relegating La Liga into a third world status league just to benefit one team's interests? What exactly is Lapo waiting for to withdraw Lamine, Pedri, Cubarsi, Ferran, Olmo from the Spain national team as retaliation? One of our players leaving the field dead?

This is not the first and will not be the last time laliga referees work against barca. It has been going on for ages. Most of the referees are Madrid supporters. All barca need to do is to build a team that will be too good and too strong and better than Madrid in all departments. When they play they maul every team in laliga even Madrid. Then denying us on or two penalties would not mean anything. Barca need to get players like Leao and a good striker to boost the attack. They also have to strengthen the defense.

I like Leao but we also need Fullbacks getting Alphonso Davies on a free would be amazing business. And call me crazy but even though Salah's contract is a big talking point i would much rather capitalize on Musiala's contract ending in 2026. Olmo is amazing but i think as an impact sub seeing as he's never 100% all the time and having someone like Musiala would help distribute his minutes and Musiala is arguably one of the best dribblers in the world, he can carve open defences like a knife through butter

Hi Grett. I think investing in Mo Salah in any way is a total waste of space and time. He is too old and Barca need younger players with longer futures at the club. Nico Williams is more desirable for Barca due to his versatility on both flanks. Raphael Leao is good but I don't think the club has the funds to afford him. Barca should get rid of Gerard Martin, Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, and Frenkie de Jong in order to create salary space for Nico Williams and Raphael Leao!!

Victor Geokeres. He would be a fantastic replacement for our striker position. Lewandowski is getting old he might leave or he is gonna struggle a lot more. Victor Geokeres is the best replacement because we have a long term and great striker for a lot of seasons. Barca definitely need to get him. Also maybe you don't know about football tactics but for 3-4 years Balde has been our left winger when we are in attack, he is the one that takes on people 1v1 and does the crosses on the left wing. So if we get Leao, Balde would be useless and we should sell him which would be terrible. Flick will definitely not completely change the team's tactics for a player like Leao who is unproven

The problem with Frankie we can't sell him if he doesn't want to leave sir. If he is open to leaving we can sell him. I think he stays until his contract runs out. If the board says to him we want you to leave and we won't play you and keep you in the stands, that might be the only way to get him to think about leaving.

Barto went in and changed his mind, so I am not saying he doesn't care about his legacy, but he could go to whomever he wants and cement a new legacy with those fans he is 27 currently. He is only still at the club because the club owes him his money from covid times. If he didn't defer his money until the last three years of his current deal he would of left us already imo. Here's how you make Nico and Raphinha coexist. Convert Raphinha into a CF. You'll have RW - Yamal CF - Raphinha LW - Nico. Sell Frenkie and sign Bajcetic. If you require a RB then go after Vanderson. Leao isn't the answer.
