Had Thor killed a bloodlusted Kratos, that would've been an impressive feat, but he didn't. However if it's simply marvel's MCU Chris Hemsworth with The Odin force, I don't know Because MCU Thor can hold and control Lightning at will thanks to the Odin force..but if this is blood lusted God of war Zeus wins because I think the blade of Olympus does way more damage than mjnoir or storm breaker. 1) If you read the codex you know Kratos said Thor’ strikes were as heavy as any AND that his hammer made them heavier. If we include the strike Kratos delivered to himself with the Blade of Olympus, which shattered the Power of Hope (a power that completely eclipses anything Zeus could muster); Thor could literally one shot Zeus with a critical hit to the dome. 2) Lightening can def hurt Zeus. Kratos was shown capable of using Cronos’ lightening against Zeus in their first real fight and dealt damage. 3) Kratos couldn’t hold back on Thor in their second fight, because Thor kept threatening Atreus’ life. Which was the kinda thing to trigger Kratos.

Zeus isn't old. The ancient Greeks believed that the gods were the embodiment of physical perfection. They were beautiful, they didn't age once they reached their physical prime, and they were immortal. The earliest depictions of Zeus indicate a healthy man in his prime, not the older "father" image we constantly see in the modern times. That's one thing God of War got more right. Yes, they still made him older but at least he was closure to the classical Greek image of Zeus.

Zeus commanded the primordials beings who created everything, destroyed the titans. As Greek mythology goes with each offspring the power goes up, clearly that isn’t the same in Norse since Odin is superior to thor. There's oneshotting kratos, and theres hitting a god so hard it is shot back in time then still fighting kratos as well as he did. In myth, jormundgander has venom so powerful that it kills Thor after their fight, and while God of war isn't always mythically accurate there's no reason to assume Thor wouldn't be vastly weakened after fighting jormundgander, especially being that he clearly had taken a beating before fighting full power kratos. (And likely would have won kratos didn't end it early)

I see it that way: Thor and Kratos are clearly meant to be equals in Ragnarok, so, if Kratos gave hell to Zeus everytime they fought, so would Thor... of course, different fighters, different set of abilities, but both still pretty much in the same level (Kratos and Thor), I still think that Zeus is stronger, even without the blade of olympus, but it's like to put the heavyweight champion against the light heavyweight champion, the heavyweight has the advantage, but still very VERY competitive...

Thor and kratos aren't equal though. Thor at the end of Ragnarok whilst not holding back was overpowered multiple times by a holding back kratos. I know the video says he isn't holding back but he very much so is. Spartan rage is just a controlled version of his rage so even then he isn't going all out.

Kratos and Thor are meant to be equals. it’s just 2 great warriors battling someone has to lose plus with all kratos plot armor he’s pretty much gonna win all of his fights as long as the plot demands it. At some point he needs to face a god that dominates him or it’s just the same old wash rise and repeat method. Thor did great against kratos even killed him while they BOTH were holding back, but at some point we need a god that is stronger than kratos not just his equal.

He doesn’t have more power at all, he stronger because he can control his anger. Kratos hasn’t trained at all ever since he left Greece. Also gods don’t get stronger just by working out or whatever, because they can’t boost their strength like mortals do. They would be born with whatever power level they had. For example, Zeus in the game was a child and couldn’t defeat his father since he an infant and when he grew up, he now capable of defeating his father. Gaia didn’t trained him or anything but just watch over him until he reached adulthood. Zeus was already born with a high level of power that’s meant for him to have a higher status.

Greek world is an "infinite hierarchy of realms" created by Ouranos, which Zeus all views over from Olympus. The Greek world is infinitely larger and its Gods scale accordingly. Honestly, even just through their relation to Kratos alone the Olympians are easily among the very most powerful pantheons. Thor isn't so much a god as he is a very powerful being whose power is enhanced by mjolnir. His power to manipulate lightning is his only godly trait. He is dumb, easily manipulated, emotionally unstable, submissive, driven to drink at the alightest of verbal abuses, he is also broken, probably Odin's doing. He is a step or two above baldur in terms of cranial capacity. He is a blunt tool. Zeus, on the other hand, more befots the description of a god in GoW universe. TBH, even Odin probably won't last more than a few minutes against Zeus. In the greek saga, Zeus outsmarted, out muscled and outmatched Kratos, and wven killed him a time or two... None of the norse "gods" are even much of a threat... actually, the valkaries were probably the closest beings to be considered as a legitimate threat ro Kratos, and they're not even considered gods.
