It is now looking quite likely that TikTok will be banned in the near future, in most Western countries.
We have already seen countries like the US and UK take steps in that direction.
If TikTok does get banned, what does that mean for Facebook advertisers and Instagram advertisers?
We know that Instagram in particular will gain a lot more users and people who used to spent a lot of time on TikTok, are likely to spend time on Instagram Reels instead.

always excited to hear from you ben ....i have a question can i go directly with sales as a new advertiser with no traffic or followers or a website i just want to start an E-commerce and selling law budget products and drive sales in whatsapp or messenger...is this the best scenario ? or should i go with another campaign objective ?? im hearing alot that you cannot go with sales unless you have a website or a landing page or or or.. thanks again ben.

Glad to hear that :) It really depends what you can track. If you can't track a conversion event then you don't to go with Sales. If you can then go for it.

Ben, I have seen many of your videos, I understand that TikTok is the future of the Advertisers, and it has already changed all platforms already. You should do a TikTok KZbin channel so you can teach us more about TikTok Ads

I think you may have misunderstood some of what I said in this video. I think there is a good chance TikTok will be banned in the next couple of years. Because of that, I don't want to invest resources into a TikTok channel.

That tends to happen with newer ad platforms. They relax the rules to draw advertisers in. People were saying the same thing about Facebook ads in 2015 in comparison to Google.

exactly what i was thinking, they can ban apps.. but they can not ban the demand/people if you think about it they will simple switch to instagram or tiktok is going to publish the same app under an other name instead of tiktok..

its really not good, this is not the direction we want to be going down. more censorship, more control, less privacy... in 20 years what do you think it will look like? we will have custom content tailored to us by big brands. Anything else we wont be able to watch.
