Everyone I see hating on Sam clearly hasn’t watched much of him. He’s such a sweet kid. He trains hard, he’s passionate, and he’s learning constantly. The advice he gives to kids is usually solid: track your macros if you struggle gaining/losing weight, bring intensity to your sets, etc. And he is even mature enough to give a disclaimer of “this is what works for me, you gotta do what works for you.” He’s a great injection of fun and authenticity into the KZbin scene.

You know I’m not really big on younger guys being OK with steroid use because it can really mess up your endocrine system. However, I am humbled enough to say he made a good argument about “What were you doing at 21?” Guilty as charged. I just hope he gets off the gear because I’ve seen too many young bodybuilders die early because I’m from the Zyzz generation. We just lost Boston Lloyd too. I don’t want to rag on the younger guys. I just want them to be better and healthier than some of their predecessors were with the knowledge we have today.

He's 21 with a full time job as a roadway painter, he's in his 3rd year of college for mechanical engineering, and he's an absolute unit. He's got his shit more together than most people in their late 20's and early 30's. Young doesn't equate to dumb, obviously he's got some issues as a kid, but he's mature beyond his years.

Unfortunetly his wisdom don't apply to nutrition, i used to eat as bad as him in my 20's and after some years the price came and i have bad stomach aches pretty much every day. He's doing that plus juicing hard to the grills. I like him a lot as a person, but i simply can't watch his long term suicide. He is the Dallas or the Piana of this generation.

The talk around the 15:00 minute mark is so fucking true. People nowadays are so quick to hate and dislike something over imo little shit. Sam is a good dude. Hes nice as can be, zero ego, super calm and genuine. Yes his diet is horrendous and he's absolutely over doing it gear wise. He does lie about it and he doesn't encourage anybody else to do it. I hope one day he slows down significantly and cleans up his diet. Ultimately his choice though. I think the hate is coming from jealous people particularly in the fitness community that are watching a young kid come in and get crazy numbers while their channels stagnate.

I genuinely can’t stand the hate towards Sam. Unlike most fitness influencer, not all but most, he is a genuine person. He isn’t in it for money or fame, he just wants to look good. He isn’t loud and obnoxious and he isn’t a fake natty. Yea he trains irregularly and intensely. He is training for hypertrophy and to look good, not even going into competitions. He doesn’t sit there and say “this is how you need to train” unlike other influencers, I wont name names but you know who they are, nor does he push bullshit products that you could get the ingredients cheaper on Amazon. Bro is just a college student who started posting workout videos and blew up. He is a step in the right direction if you ask me. A step away from the gym bros, the loud mouths, the scammers, the fake natties, all of them. Genuinely love sams content and i hate that it is even controversial. It’s only controversial because people need a scapegoat to get views. No offense to Greg doucette or anyone like him as I like most of their content too, but with the amount of content they post on him, it is just a grab for views and brings unnecessary hate. The gym community needs to do better.

Sam appeals to the 12-18 year old young men, who thankfully are looking up to a manly doing manly stuff. In a world where men are having their manhood attacked, where testosterone is vilified (unless it’s used on a trans woman/man whatever) where gender fluidity and mental illness is celebrated instead of treated, thank God for someone like Sam. Who cares about his diet. Who cares about his form. Who cares about what gear he has the right to take. Sam represents something so much bigger than these reaction videos. We need more young men like Sam, one who will be a champion for the young men of our country.

The reason so many KZbinrs are hating sam is because how fast he is growing. It took sam less than a year to reach a million subscribers something you have not done and your channel has been up longer than his. I really don't see how so many people have a problem with Sam when I watch his videos he's not talking about other people he is just literally working out. Obviously he's doing something right cause look at his physic. I enjoy sam's content cause he doesn't talk about anybody he just tells us what the workout is today and he goes and does it. What's so damn bad about that. Quit clout chasing and worry about yourself.

People told me he blew up on social media because he gained upwards of 50-60 pounds in less than two years, with most of it in the first year, despite already doing two-years of training. The transformation really went viral and inspired a lot of guys on TikTok to try and do his training and diet to gain an equal amount of weight and strength. So good for him for parlaying such a fast transformation into a large following.
