I love how they are using rare animals that are in danger of becoming extinct as the Animals professors like the message of the movie resonates so much more that way. We can see Snow leopard, Okapi, Shoebill, Sloth & an Owl

I'm pretty sure that's not a sloth but actually some kind of monkey, I'm not amazing with subspecies identification but I think a capuchin? Size seems too small to be a sloth and mannerisms feel more like a monkey. Unless there's a sloth somewhere I'm not seeing.

Other than not showing the singing, I keep getting more hyped every day and feeling the passion these people have for this musical! Although the last time I was hyped for a stage to screen adaptation, I demanded my head to be examined for believing how good the trailers looked.

Technically we have been shown the teeniest little snippets of the songs, in some trailers we have heard Cynthia sing “unlimited…together we’re..unlimited” and the iconic defying gravity note, audio only, and I think we’ve also heard an audio of Ariana doing the “laaa laaaa, laaaa laaaa” out of Popular, again only the audio

The Broadway musical is LOOSELY based on the book so if you're expecting to see plot lines from the book in the stage production, you will be enormously disappointed. Fortunately, this upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical is being expanded and including elements from the book so it'll be more detailed than the Broadway show is.

@@harmonandrews2849read it, it’s about like in the musical. They start losing their voice, I’ve read the book so many times. It’s as if they’re going “extinct” at least the talking ones. Then the sequels branch out into this world Gregory Maguire has created that is just…wow. I will always recommend the book
