When Marceline is flying over statues and buildings, it was much smoother that I think a lot of love was given to that scene. This is a great animatic and you've told the story so well on Bubblegum's reason for staying, Marceline's reason to have stayed but left instead.

This animatic was posted 5 days after "Evergreen", Episode 24 of Season 6 premiered. This was roughly 10 months before the "Stakes" miniseries debuted, and a great deal of Marcy & PB's backstories had yet to be revealed. This animatic was... Pretty prescient, in a lot of its tone and characterization, on top of having some incredibly well-animated sequences. Props to the creator for not only their considerable artistic talent, but also their foresight in regards to the development of these characters and their place in Ooo!

I think some of the surfing bits are from Treasure Planet, and I can tell that some of the animation stuff has to be callbacks to many animated works beforehand! 3:35 Ironically, despite being from 8 years ago, I guess the story of PB and Marceline correctly, Marceline wanted to be free without any limit with PB, but PB, due to his responsibilities, could not abandon his sweet citizens and his kingdom, moving away but maintaining a certain affection . Obviously things like that destroyed city or Finn baby are typical of the video BUT it got pretty close.

Holy shit. This and another animatic are so unique. I saw this animatic of All You Wanna do with gestures that people don't usually use. Yours is Unique in a way that you use so many angles and panning that I don't see anyone else using. You took advantage of all the possibilities she could do with the guitar axe. She was surfing the sky! The wicked and adventure time combo was different enough. But then I saw those close ups and angles and I was just in awe. I love when people go full throttle with the possibilities and that's *EXACTLY* what you did!!

My favourite bits and details that I think shouldn't be missed: 0:36: The change in their expressions from defiant to sympathetic. It didn't seem forced at all. 0:38-1:00 I love the transition on Marcy's face. And that bit with the photograph. Beautiful. 1:07-1:17 Just that this bit exists. 1:48 Her nostrils to show that she's taking a deep breath. 1:55 I don't remember adventure time a lot, but is that how they drew butts? 😂 2:00-2:06 Everyone looks amazing with wind in their hair and this lives to that. Also, her confident-let's-try-this eyebrow raise that perfectly coincides with the higher note. 2:31 I love how the footage shakes because of what Marcy's doing (right in time the song becomes upbeat, too) 2:36 That was unexpected in a good way 2:41-2:44 Wonderfully done bird's eye view 3:15 Bubblegum protectively shielding the guards. 3:39-3:48 This explains pretty well why Bubblegum changes her mind and decides to stay.
