Wiha Tool Haul #2: Sister's Birthday, Pliers, Big Screwdriver Stand, and April Fools!

In this video we take a look at our second tool haul direct from Wiha! The video is a bit longer than I would have liked, but here are some time stamps for your viewing convenience. Also of note, I have already recorded stand alone videos for the Coaster Set and Screwdriver Stand. And yes, I'm really giving my Sister the Soft Finish Bit Driver and XL Selector set. Which coaster do you like the best? Would you like to see other entries into the Wiha Home Decor line? Lampshades? Dishtowels? Rugs? I guess placemats would be a logical step. And lastly, what are your thoughts on the possibility of the 3K line being discontinued?

I've already populated the Screwdriver Stand and absolute love it! Wiha drivers are a PERFECT FIT, but virtually everything else I own drops in and stands quite nicely...we will check that out in a future video.
The pliers, upon further inspection, have some imperfections where they were clearly ground down too far. This shouldn't impact their performance, but it is worth noting. I may highlight this in a later update video.
If you are still reading...thank you. That aside, how do you feel about the 3K line? Will you miss it? Did you prefer it over the Soft Finish? Was it for the lower price, or did you simply like the design and ergonomics better?

Have their bit selector also where you actually press that red tab above the button and it's great with the felo bit holder

Not going to lie...I thought that is actually what I ordered for her...I got in a hurry and was mainly concerned with the selection of bits that she'd use the most. This one works, and I like the size, but I had assumed it was the style where you line it up and the bit pops out.

Their 26 in one ultra driver stay in my back pocket at work, I have the industrial and tradesman and they're great

I"m half tempted to bring on in for myself...I have the 38041 that is just a 13 in 1. Currently have it in my desk at work...I like the extra variety the Ultra Driver offers.

Always look forward to these every saturday! Look up the sellular216 on ebay they have some NOS german made NAPA WITTE screwdrivers for about $25 a set with shipping and includes a #3 Phillips also.

@@lonestarmopars Heck yeah man! I'd like your email so I can spam you with all the good deals I find on ebay. The great thing about snapon is you can order a $20 screwdriver and not have to worry about shipping cause its free. I'm not one of those people that buy snapon because of the brand status that comes with having a box full of the stuff and only the stuff even if there is a better choice. The things I buy from snap on are some of the best tools i've ever owned, the way those pliers grab nuts on a battery terminal simply sold them to me, the teeth on them are really something to be talked about with how well they grab and is one of the key features in snap on's pliers that makes them cost what they do. I imagine a whole new machine and everything goes into makes them id love to see how they do it. I plan on picking up another pair in a 6.5 inch size that is supposed to be a little different in the teeth design so we'll see!

I also picked up the 30 hole stand for the larger screwdrivers, love it. I am looking for the 3k ergonomic torx size T7, T8 and the T9 size. Can not find them anywhere including EBay. I purchased th 3k Torx size T6 and T10 two years ago.

I agree...this stand is awesome, particularly for Wiha's drivers. I found you the T9 on WihaTools. I think they are trying to phase out the 3K line and replace it with Soft Finish offerings: www.wihatools.com/3k-ergonomic-torx-screwdrivers

I have the 26 in 1. Was surprised it is not magnetic. It came with a separate bit set and bit holder. None of that is magnetic either

Really? I guess it must be because of the double sided bits? I have the 13 in 1 PN 38401 and it is magnetic...uses standard bits too. Maybe they'll make a revision in a future model that will either maintain the capacity with standard bits, or simply magnetize the shaft to secure the double ended bits.
