I so hope that these two stand the test of time. They have been married over a decade now and things are going well. I think William would move heaven and earth to prevent a repeat of his childhood for his children. Prince George is now 8 years old, where has the time gone? Catherine has not put a foot wrong in her role as Duchess, even though the other Duchess in the family has tried to damage Kate's image, I don't think that will have any affect on how people see her. She is genuine, she is caring and she is most definitely regal. I think William will bring the best of his mother, his father and his grandmother to the throne. I hope I am around to see it. She prepared herself for ten years because she knew what it was required. There is a saying, "When you marry for money, you earn every penny of it." She showed great strength and determination, and never could've have begun to try to marry him if she didn't deeply love and trust him with all her heart. Being a royal is that difficult. It's still a tremendous amount of work. Prince William once said they're like ducks, everything looks smooth on the surface but they're paddling furiously behind the scenes. Charles wanted to marry Camila but he had to go into the navy or something idk its like a royal requirement to go into the army in some form I think. Anyway Camila had another option waiting in the wings... the only reason Charles and camilla didn't get married 1st was because she didn't wait. Also as head of the church of England he cannot marry a divorced woman. I DO NOT condone charles and camillas affair that was not ok. That was their mistake. However I do understand why. Love makes one do dumb things. I'm glad they got with each other in the end. But it wasn't done the right way. The queen and prince Philip made a mistake by pushing Charles to diana.

I think William has his fathers attitude, especially now as the next heir to the throne. I am disappointed by his straight laced, lack of fun for life attitude he now has, it’s like he sold out his mom for the crown. I hope he takes a different lean when he actually becomes 🤴. Because at that point both his dad and grandmother will be gone, he could be his own kind of king, let’s hope he’s doing what he has to till that time. Which will be maybe 20-25 years because his father probably will live to mid-nineties, most likely. I wish Charles would just let him be King but that’s not likely, is it?

Prince Charles is very handsome and courteous to everyone he meets. He is extremely athletic and the most wonderful humanitarian. He has been on the forefront of several causes before they became popular. He grew up during a time when affection wasn't shown to children, although his parents loved him. He clearly loves his sons(watch him during Princess Diana's funeral procession). Please think about life as a royal before assuming anything.

William and Kate are a very different couple than Harry and Meghan. Obviously, both men are have their mother’s best qualities - very kind, personable, and down to earth. They also of course have a special bond and shared trauma over her death, with a distrust for the media. They both focus on similar charitable endeavors that were near and dear to Diana. She would take them out to do “normal” things that royal princes weren’t always privy to, like McDonald’s and water parks. She even took them to homeless shelters so they’d be aware of life outside of a castle. However, William always knew he was the heir and would one day become King. He’s always been a bit more serious, though not stern, and aware of his duties. Harry knew he’d never be king and genuinely seemed to relish in being the wild one. It’s well known that he enjoyed being “just Harry” while in the military, not a Prince or His Royal Highness. It only makes sense to me that William would love and choose a woman like Kate, and Harry would love and choose a woman like Meghan. Neither is better than the other, their personalities fit with their husbands. Kate is very dignified and calm, with a soft, mature voice and classy demeanor. Meghan, like Harry, is a bit less traditional. She’s very much a California girl in her looks, even when prim and proper for royal engagements, a free spirit, an extensive traveler. Both women are intelligent, passionate, beautiful, and graceful. No one should be pinned against once another. Both women were “approved” by Elizabeth II (I hate saying it like that but they literally do need the Queen’s approval for marriage). So instead of bashing Harry and especially the scapegoat Meghan for being more out of the box, focus on all the good they intend to do in their new positions, and the good William and Kate will continue to do in theirs.
