Funny to me when people act like Ben Shapiro is saying something clever because he's rattling off buzzwords at 60 BPM, like a mildly sentient gerbil. Your words either have meaning, or they don't, regardless of how fast you get them out. And your acting, and this may apparently come as a surprise to some in the psychiatric field, has no bearing on your own articulation, character, or thoughts. That's why they get paid, to ACT like someone else.
@jakublizon63752 жыл бұрын
@@dishonoredundead Ben Shapiro is an idiot. He's just a smug tryst fund kid that thinks the faster he talks the more intelligent he sounds. His arguments are nothing short of ridiculous. He does NOT represent all of us, most of us, and certainly NOT those of us who adhere to the strict guidelines of our profession regarding diagnosing and imparting professional opinions. But if I wanted to act like him, I could say that he is exhibiting signs of disinhibition, some grossly disorganized behavior, circumstantial thought process, psychomotor agitation-and very prominent frontal release signs-all of which are concerning for a possible early fronto-temporal dementia (pick’s disease) or maybe due to a substance, including those prescribed. BUT I WOULD NEVER PROVIDE THAT AS TESTIMONY OR AS MT PROFESSIONAL OPINION. It is an observation based on limited data and very little can be concluded on my observation unless the person is examined.

“I am not an expert in acting. I have no idea what an actor does” 4:40 I'm pretty sure it’s basic knowledge that actors work hard to nail the language and diction of their characters to make it more believable on screen. If the doc has seen Mr. Deep interviews as he’s claimed than I'm sure he would've heard Mr. Deep talking about getting into the role of whatever character he's playing like most actors/actresses do.
@shoesmcge26302 жыл бұрын
while i definitely agree its basic knowledge that actors/ musicians rehearse, that was probably the ONE smart thing he said while on the stand. I would assume saying anything besides "i dont know" would leave him open to further questions...by saying "i dont know" the Depp lawyer had to move on to other topics

I like how with the other questions he had no problem answering. Just going around the answer, acting arrogant and trying to explain and make the lawyer look incompetent but the lawyer asked him one simple question, if he has seen Charlie and the chocolate factory and suddenly he is hesitant and not sure if he should answer 😂😂😂

@tautwenty2 жыл бұрын
@@nataliajaf Dr Spiegel was giving his "professional" opinions of Johnny Depp based off of Depp's films and he described Depp as having a "slow processing speed". It just so happens that Depp played as Willy Wonka back in the 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie and it serves as a counterargument for the lawyer - since this portrayal by Depp was witty and "not slow". This cornered Spiegel because if he admitted to having seen Charlie and the Chocolate factory, then it opens the argument as to why that depiction of Depp wasn't accounted for. If Spiegel answers no, then he was ignorant of Depp's works and that lessens the credibility of his testimony. So it was a damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't moment for the doctor.
@DsiakMondala2 жыл бұрын
@@tautwenty I might add that the jury, being regular people, certainly understood right away that profiling an actor based on his character is what some would call a "small brain move". Dismantling that argument wasn't even really necessary. What a floor swipe.
