I totally agree with putting yourself out there! That's how I met my soulmate :) He liked my comment on this Facebook page & I thought he was cute so I added him (no mutual friends or anything!), which I NEVER do! Then I started talking to him & he sent me a message & the rest is history :) Not that it takes a whole lot of bravery to talk to someone online but I definitely went out of my personal comfort zone!

I'd love more Winenot Wednesdays :) Is there a tip you can give a girl on how to not eat an entire bag of quinoa chips in one sitting? Good lord. I guess at least I've stopped doing that with potato chips but STILL, snacks, I tell you. In all seriousness though, I admire how positive and excited you're able to remain even while in a constant state of doing SO many things at once. I am so inspired by how busy you are and how you still manage to make time for yourselves. I'm in an insanely busy business program in Vancouver and one of the main struggles I have is being able to mentally approach being so busy all of the time. How do you juggle so many things and stay positive and motivated and healthy? I'd love more talks about that :) Love you both so much! You keep me smiling even when I want to curl up in a ball and sleep away the next few months until I'm in my internship and life calms down a little! TIU has been SUCH a saviour for me. BIG LOVE!

This was a great video and I love you both being so honest and silly. The two tips I loved the most were 1)have a wing woman-also helpful to have a buddy system. It's always important to have a good friend there in case you don't feel comfortable or have too much to drink. Stay safe out there babes. 2)Listen to yourself! So true, if you're not feelin' it or know you deserve better, trust your gut. Say Yes! to adventure and fun, but it's ok to say No, if you don't feel comfortable. On another note, I'm sure there are TIU babes out there that are not into men, and that's cool too. I feel like the community was built to be inclusive, so just pointing that out. A good tip I think would be, set up a super fun date! Like something that you would really enjoy and if you take them on said said and they don't like it welp then you just gotta cut them loose! Also you guys should do a video on tattoos!!!!

My advice? Just keep doing what you love to do!! I was single for soooo long, always wondering when I would meet my "dream guy." Well as soon as I stopped worrying and wondering and just started to live my life, I met the most perfect man at a triathlon training practice not long after decided to stop being scared and pursue my interest of completing a triathlon! 2 and a half years later, we still do triathlons and train together!

A lot of this can be applied to making new friends! =) I moved to a new state and everyone I knew was so far away and I was a new mom. It took time but I just kept going out places and small chatting with people and eventually you talk to people that you get a long with really well. Friendship form but not if you are hiding in your house. =) Be friendly and kind.

I've dated a lot of men and still waiting for a good match. Even at my age I think your advice is good. I do wish I had not spent months or even years on men I knew weren't good for me. How do you become more body aware and body confident?
