The fans proper appreciate this work around. The physical duels are what separated you from every other KZbinr doing these, so it's good to see they're being brought back. Completely agree with the simulator for opening the packs though, they're far too expensive long term.

Rampart Blaster's effect This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. While this card is in face-up Defense Position, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Enemy of Justice finally has the hero cards I've been wanting! But maybe I should pivot to another strategy. What archetype should I try to build around if not Heores?
@metalfan110011 ай бұрын
Crystal Beasts or Dark Heroes may be a good pivot. Dark Heroes obviously would be cool considering you are already playing heroes. But yeah, Heroes are just a little too lackluster and don’t bring much to the table besides average at best fusion monsters.

Enemy of Justice was also one of the few sets where I actually attended the sneak preview event. I thought the Destiny Heroes were really cool when they were first introduced; I liked how the effects gave one the sense that they were manipulating time itself. I built a deck with the destiny heroes, and even though it couldn't win games I had a blast playing it. Aside from the destiny heroes, I was also surprised at how strong Grand Convergence was; I thought it just did 300 damage, I had no idea it was also a black hole.

Rampart blaster can attack directly from defense with atk halved during the dmg step, it can not attack monsters like a SHS can. Even if it could, it would be with a 1000atk so it would not be enough to get over anything with over 1000 atk/def. Great duels tho, love seeing slackers back, great series!

46:47 I think it would be more fair for the winner to choose between taking a card or an extra pack, b/c yeah Yu-Gi-Oh architypes at this point means the likelihood of wanting any card from your opponent's deck is much less but the previous Rare Hunters series that leads into this one is all about taking your opponent's cards so I wouldn't want to take that all away. Basically just having that choice after each win is the most interesting option rather than going for only one for the continuation of this series. Regardless though, this episode was entertaining and I'm glad you guys found a better way to produce this from your experiments from the previous episode. Looking forward to what comes next!

Malfunction at least re-Sets the card after negating it so it can't be used again until the next turn. Goblin out of the Frying Pan, however, is just not good. Best-case scenario, you can negate and bounce a set quick-play Spell that they activate on your turn. Mid-case scenario, it's a 500 LP Jar of Greed if you control Bountiful Artemis...?
