Hi Karl, yes we prefer to use darker groundbaits in the winter, as perhaps the fish are less confident, or eager to feed in the colder weather. A bed of light coloured groundbait could put them off and they could find it a little alarming.

Hi, thanks for the comment! We were using the tiny Nisa open ended feeder, however also in this situation we would use the tiny Drennan Grip Mesh Feeders, both of these would work well. :-) Good luck if you use them and this method. Hope you catch a few.

Hello buddy, yeah we would happily use both the F1 liquid and the F1 ground bait, its a fantastic carp attractor! One of our favourites to use! :-) Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments, glad you like the video's! To be honest I was unaware they made a black F1 ground bait, perhaps at the time we filmed it they didn't have any or something, will have to look out for it next time! :-)

Hi,great vids just one little tip if you only add black swim stim to darken off the F1 groundbait why not use black F1? Keep up the great vids!!!
@TehFluxer12 жыл бұрын
yeah it does mate , thanks for your reply. :) will you be making another video soon?
@FromTheWatersEdgeTV12 жыл бұрын
Hello mate, to be honest there isn't really a lot you can do! You have to make the call... If there's some real big fish in the lake then it may not be worth risking clipping up at all. If you fished clipped up and do hook a monster then you have to be really quick and un clip the line before the fish snaps it! If not you have to hit and hold and hope the carp doesnt go too mental!

Do you bring the rod tip up after casting so you get alittle line back on the reel whilst leaving it in the line clip? So in effect you cast to a spot, then pull off alittle extra line & the line clip it? Realise accuracy is key to big weights but struggling to master it lol

i personally love using the shotgun feeder with 2mm feed pellets and 4/6mm banded pellet or fake maize

How deep one can feeder fish during the wither . Doesn't seem very deep thatt lake.. thank you very much :)
@FromTheWatersEdgeTV9 жыл бұрын
No worries +divin777 you can feeder fish all year round, in the winter I'd cast around your peg more though, as more often than not the fish can be shoaled up quite tightly.

+From The Waters Edge TV Thank you very much , i can't wait to get my own car so i can drive around. I am living in Denmark and here the waters are shallow so now i have the confidence that i may have a very nice winter . In the past it was a painful season :) .
