It blows my mind that every country in the world doesn't lobby America to keep raising tariffs on China / join in. The benefit to every country in the worlds economy by moving just some of China's manufacturing out of China would be enormous. If our companies can't operate freely in their country their companies shouldn't be able to operate freely in ours like they currently do. They are stealing the world's productivity intentionally via government policy. Its ridiculous that we all watch them do this and do nothing.

Before Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister we had the stupid Indian National Congress leading us for ages - a family led political party - who led India to ruins, stayed submissive to the world powers, cared more about their personal economic interests than the country’s. They are also the biggest donors to charity, education, infrastrukcture, and training up the people. The biggest investments in the most fundamental enabler industries, unlike western investments which are mostly in consumer industries that send out their dividends. Did you complain during the periods when Americans took over all Phil industries, sent out the money , shot Filipinos and left babies in the bases ? / when Japanese Yakuza in the 80s controlled all the vice dens, along with Australians / when the MIdeast were lording it over Phil and abusing people ? All nations should protect themselves against foreign abuse. However, local industries should not be over protected because they become complacent due to lack of competition and reduced innovation. Foreign competition and FDI will be beneficial to any nation as long as they foreigners play by the rules, and get punished if they do not (like India is doing with Chinese tech firms). I remember when in the early 90s many Mexican auto parts makers feared NAFTA (now TMEC) due to their perceived inability to compete with US and Canadian firms. Today, Mexico is the main supplier of auto parts to the US market because Mexican companies had to modernize in order to achieve this result. Blessings!!! 🙂
@sankalp35132 жыл бұрын
This is not about driving out foreign competition in a blanket way. It's about pushing back against a country that has become a serial offender in not opening up its market to others but constantly subverts local laws wherever they are and not allowing them to use funds gained from Indian market to fund border aggression and terrorists against India. China wages economic war against everyone; their victims need to push back

@@subnisn4659 It has also to do with people selling these brands, Chinese brands have good profit margins for the sellers because of shady practices. These sellers then promote the Chinese phones to end user. Recently, I myself had that experience where people especially sellers at local mobile market push chinese phones instead of samsung or phones from India. Thus those that are not aware are caught up in it.

@Aravind.B 15bct004 Absolutely Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was great leader. He spent his whole life for mass peoples liberty and rights. That time was very different political perspective. We dominated by East Pakistan and their leaders. But our Father of Nation Bangabandhu Shaikh Mujibur Rahman realise their true nature. Then we revolted against them and gained our independence. I strongly believe, India is our true friend.
