Read my mind. I just did this and couldn’t find a bronco specific or thorough video. Thank you

Hey guys, this is Tim. I just come up and got that white tailgate from you. I've done 2 of Those removals. The first one really sucked. Because I was all by myself. That was on my nineteen ninety five f two fifty. On the second one I marked the two bolts on each side of the hinges to the body.. Lose them Up. It automatically took the back of the hood up about one and a half inches. One man can do the job now. And not touch the paint. Way easier. Finish the job, lower the hood back down And tighten the bolt.

Good pointers. If we were protecting the paint, we would’ve wrapped it with a shop towel

I found it really tough to get this removed with the hood attached when you have really nice paint that you're trying hard not to scratch up.
@BroncosandPartsGarage11 ай бұрын
Good point, we would put a shop blanket over any painted surface. We did not want to get scratched up.

I was wondering if you had a video on how to clear out the drain holes in the fire wall or under the cowl?
@BroncosandPartsGarageАй бұрын
There are drains on each side that lead down to rubber duck bills that clogged up with debris. It’s probably the main reason why your fender rust out near the bottom of the wheel well because of all the windshield wiper solvent spray spraying against the back of it. Long stiff wire can clean it out. Or pull fender.

Thanks for the video. I read on a how-to on Bronco forums that there’s a way to “install” a cabin air filter underneath this cowl as the air duct is directed that way. By using an aftermarket filter or cold air intake. Is the duct actually in there?
@BroncosandPartsGarage11 ай бұрын
It would get destroyed by weather. There is just a hole for intake and for drainage into a rubber “duck” bill down where all ford front fenders rust out.

Thanks for the video! My wipers were working then hit each other. Now the driver side works, passenger does not. Is there a likely part to replace I should get before taking the cowl off?
@BroncosandPartsGarage6 ай бұрын
Probably just a stripped out washer arm

I have a 1995 Bronco/ I had the windshield replaced last year and now the cowl on the passenger side corner, behind the antenna, is not attached to anything and moves up and down. Rattles when driving. How do I fix/repair this? Thanks!!
@BroncosandPartsGarage5 ай бұрын
There should be some screws in the corner holding it down and two screw “inside” the vents on top.

What size screw holds down the windshield wiper cowl?
