I feel like Jenna’s time was kinda compromised because of how frequently she broke up 7 reps. Go unbroken on HSPU K2E, KB, and PU. Break up thrusters maybe 4-3 if you need to give your shoulders a break. Singles if you’re really compromised. Deadlifts, do singles if you’ve got a quick reset to keep your grip strong for all 7 rounds. Keep burpees at a moderate pace as to not immediately spike the heart rate. This workout really blows up the grip, back, and shoulders.

Obviously every athlete is different but some good ideas here. This is the kind of strategic thinking we want to inspire!

Scale to suit, rx is 63kg/135lbs for thrusters and 110kg/245lbs for DL, if you can move those for 7 unbroken reps, try it

+Julien Gobet Ha it’s true! Almost always...guys have come out on top a few times. We don’t plan it that way, the athletes pick each other.

Is it normal vomiting at the end of Wod !!! He forces his body to an extremely dangerous limit and as a result body reacts it in this way.
@wodwell
@wodwell 6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say it’s normal but it happpens when athletes (in any sport) push themselves hard.

I absolutely love CrossFit but god damn, do a static pull-up once in a while. This kipping shit they do is just stupid. Wow I can swing my body. Good for me. Like a 5 year old in the park. Literally the only thing I don’t agree with.

+Thomas Gunkler You definitely wouldn’t start out doing a workout like this if you’re new to CrossFit. If you’re thinking about starting, drop in to a local gym and talk to a coach who can explain how they would adapt CrossFit to your fitness level (it’s adaptable to every fitness level). The athletes in this video are amateur competitors so they train differently than most! Good luck!

definitely a good get money session, but form is disregarded. all that swinging on the bar when static form should take place no matter how tired you are and the lack of form with the hit burpees (burpee with push ups). fatigue makes cowards of us all, but as far as bodyweight and weighted movements, form is vital because you become stronger and mental toughness strengthes due to fatigue setting in. both the hanging knee raises and pull ups should be static. the rotator cuffs are getting slaughtered with all that swinging. not a fitness guru nor would i claim to be, but i am a stickler on form to bodyweight movements since i do calisthenics. even if time is sacrificed, its better to focus for quality because you will be stronger in the long run. other than that... GET MONEY!!! 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
