Does any working woman marry a man who is earning less than her? When a husband has a more stressful job and can accommodate only 30% of household works, who's supposed to take up the additional work? I have come across women who started expecting men do equal amount of household works just because the women are "working". It doesn't matter if it's a stressfree job, low paying job, or anything. Even if a husband is earning 3 times more than the wife and spends more time at work, she expects him to share the work equally. Solution to this is, ambitious women should marry men who earn less than them so that men will have time to contribute more than women and let them reach greater heights.

If a woman has raised even one child, she should be rewarded for such a challenging task. Sadly, men don't raise kids and they are usually the boss, so they don't understand the challenges. I believe raising a child teaches you commitment, patience and most of all, prompt response to any unexpected issues and also contingency planning. If corporates don't appreciate these skills, they're idiots.

Let's talk about the 2 genders: Male - Has the muscle strength and Cognitive abilities. He can do nothing other than protecting the family and providing for their needs and Female - Has the capability to give birth, feed the babies and also Cognitive abilities. Only she can raise kids to a certain age and also can provide for the family. As per many scientific studies, by nature women are nurturing and have a special bond with babies (after all, babies grow in a woman's body for 9 months). Even in animal kingdom, we see baby animals with mothers while the fathers either hunt or protect the herd. Do we also need laws there to make the fathers raise the kids (to a certain age) while the mothers go for a hunt and protect the herd? Point here is, both genders are not equal, they are different and have their own responsibilities. Fathers can help with raising to some extent, but it's not possible to handle everything. Raising kids is a challenge and hiring nannies will not help with the situation. A baby needs a mother's attention more than father's until a certain age. Moreover, it's physically draining to give birth and some women may not fully recover from a delivery and prefer to rest. Companies need resources who are bankable and can put extra hours into their work. That's business. I don't understand how can a woman handle both the roles at the same time. It's logical for companies to look for men who can be used as slaves, unlike women who will have deal with other challenges too. If the health of the baby is important, it's natural for the mother to choose motherhood over career. If career is more important, she can rely on nannies or go child-free. We don't need any new laws here as we already have many in favor of women which are exploited by many.

Yes they give childcare subsidies but the day care system is even worse. There are no day cares or super expensive.. or worse longer waiting list. Not just companies but even government can’t resolve this issue. Unless men choose to do parenting n let women take up the responsibility of earning.

Companies should give some exemption for women such as flexible working hours and wfh option so that they can contribute as workforce as well as take care of family as well. Still companies don't understand our needs at all and HR and managers work on making us leave job instead of having us back and providing us the required exemptions

Some called it motherhood love. choose money or children. Many women work different way from home instead. We can't have both parents go on part time to take care of kids and to make gender equality at work. I don't agree with feminist thought of men don't do any other unpaid work at home where many kind of work supposed to be done by default by men. @@mohankrishna3597 NO...😮 Since past 8 yrs I am watching Fathers.. taking participation in raising kids.. which is helping them developing better bonds with them (coming generation.. you will not listen this Father-son abrupt dynamic.. in which he is mamma's boy.. because he got love and care from his Dad as well, not just Mom... he will not feel awkward while hugging his Father unlike kids from 90s or 00s..) Being a 90s kids... if you had opened your eyes and observed society around you.. then you might have noticed... When child's performs bad or get into wrong Influence.. it was the Mother's who were to be BLAMED (because she was having Active role in his/her upbringing ) but.. but When the child succeeds.. all the GLORY somehow, used to goes his father.. Having kids make women vulnerable They have to get beaten, abused, cheated on by husband and they literally have to beg for money. It won't happen until the resources would directly be gotten by women rather than men being intermediate here. Patriarchal society is failed society as women cannot suffer anymore. Women is like nature, hence they need to be given power and access to resources But women still being paid less than men for same work. If men think they can balance out by making conditions like afganistan then better is to be let the human kind extinct. Problem is there is too much expectations from women. 1.Be financially independent. 2.Get married. 3.Take care of kids. 4.Focus on career growth. 5.take out time to pursue personal hobbies. 6.take care of parents also 7. In laws expectations But there are many women who managed all this and still got success. Find a solution which is acceptable to all. Demonising men for each and every problem will only make them anti-women. This is not a solution.

If after years of toiling one has to give up on promotions or worse leave job anyone would want a capable spouse to take care of family in that case and hence either men should start contributing to child rearing more so women continue work post kids or should earn more to take care of family in csse women are forced have to leave work force due to familial responsibilities. Isnt this a fair ask.

Like how dog breeders force female dogs to produce children, society forces females too. It is personal choice of woman to choose if she wants to use her body for breeding babies or not. A female who signs up to be mother and spends her valuable time and money paying hefty medical bills raising a child or a pet, she should have right to decide what's best for her. Love is love, no matter where it is coming from. Animals are going to over take soon the human child position in families and also get tax exemptions and more medical insurance benefits for having one in future. Oh wait ! 2:30 is that a problem to combat? Why women must be nudged into workforce. When daycare , cleaning, cooking, laundry are all considered profession and paid but being homemaker is considered jobless then that is the problem to be tackled. This root cause since not being addressed is causing problems like achools are there but no children, no of youth willing to marry or having kids are declining. Men and women are not equal but different. Men must be respected for qhat they are and women must be respected for what they are. Not financial independence and indvidualism are solutions. Its tried and failed in developed economies. Try to think about other solutions please.

Thousands of years society functioned just fine, sure there were problems, but looking today you see complete chaos and there is a simple root cause. Families are structured for a reason, you cannot help what you born as but you must live the role you were born as, otherwise society falls apart as is seen now. This is what happens when very rich powerful people think they are a god, they utterly show their failure for all to see. This all started at the turn of the last century and we can see 20/20 after a 130 years.

Not really ...with every generation society keeps changing...just because internet wasn't there at that time doesn't necessarily means the societies were functioning well then also. Yes women were barred from stepping out hence never knew what they missing and were just being trained for servitude. When one doesn't have knowledge or information of what is missing it's easy to mould them...which is nit the case now.

@@Firefly-101 agree without family leave civilization an individual person also cannot have a happy fulfilling life, though at the same time i still believe with changing times a mid path has to be found by both genders and both will have to mould their ways in some way or other by having flexible inclusive approach. One of the reasons that has led to this situation is over suppression of one gender and now women have become rebellious as well. For normal people this divide doesnt leave men also at peace..most women when forced to leave work force without support take out frustration when they get a chance on their spouse only...many dont even understand how difficult it is to work in cut throat environment these days to get food on table because they havent seen that side of life.Though each to his own this is just my perspective.

As men were a destructive force in times past, I would say now females are that destructive force, as with the freedoms given there are now no restraints to actions or negative behaviors, which is the cause of the problem, along with some very dark destructive forces behind the scenes encouraging it.

Women demonise men for their own incompetencies. There are plenty of successful women who are also full time mothers also. Only difference between them and others is that they don't complain about it all over social media all the time rather try to find ways around it. Moreover, children are not burden but can be your biggest asset in future but just like a full time career it takes time to raise such a kid.
