Lyle is probably the most underrated creator on this platform. That's a big claim but the man has made multiple series even since his big break with Sanity Not Included, and all of them have been better than which came before, it's just a gold standard every time for timing, writing, comedy, editing, style, and performance. I'll be straight up devastated if ever a day comes when there's no more Pregame Discharge or Spoilers Ahead, hope this train don't stop

And the rock makes even less sense than the things Lyle brought up. The whole monkey's paw thing changes so fucking willy nilly that it seems to exist just to be a plot device for wonder wamon losing her powers.

It's because the first movie was so good, you were hoping that the payout would justify you overlooking all the flaws...which it totally didn't. Here's my favorite dumb detail in the movie: She's an architect. Her entire job and life has revolved around categorizing various artifacts from gods she personally knows. But can't identify the Latin stone the entire movie...until some older indigenous man talks about it, and suddenly she remembers EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STONE POSSIBLE!

My girlfriend loved the first WW movie and she got me into Wonder Woman, and the day when the second movie was announced she was so hyped and always reminding me that we will watch it in theaters. It was finally released and after we watched it we were so confused and still figuring out what's the meaning or purpose of the movie? We loved the first movie because it summarized that not all things can turned out like you wanted or expected, and sometimes you have to make sacrifices, that's reality. But in the second movie they threw it all out the window and replaced with... _"Hey, have you watched Fairly Odd Parents?"_ For us it felt unrealistic, ungrounded and totally less believable.
