Great video. The more I think about trailer reconversion, the more I like the idea of repurposed horse trailers, big and small. The height, the narrow windows, the whole "steel & nothing else" that gives a clean canvas without too many bad surprises, the good suspension if one decides to drive a lot... Yep, I love this trend.

this video has been my main inspiration for the past month as i’ve watched it countless times. for the past year i have bought and sold older 2 horse trailers to different companies that convert them into bars. i always found the final product to be special and i’ve been wanting to build my own. i stumbled across your video over a month ago and it completely motivated me to follow through with building a mobile bar. i’ve used your video for reference throughout much of my process. i’ve spent the last five weeks just on prepping for paint. ive had to learn how to bondo and how to cut and grind with an angle grinder. it’s gotten me out of my comfort zone and gave me confidence to bring my vision to life. i just want to say thank you. your video not only inspired me but it shifted my perspective. building this trailer has been rewarding and challenging at the same time. thanks for documenting your build. this is currently my favorite video on youtube lol.

This is absolutely insanely cool. I’ve been wanting to buy an old float and slowly do it up. The only thing I will say is that I would never put my horse in a float with the axles/floor structure that rusted. Seen far too many horror stories where horses have fallen through floors mid journey. I’d be stripping it down and replacing bit by bit.

@@mattv3395 And the one he got was pretty beat up and needed to be almost built back from the ground up. My only commentary is I would have preferred to see Aluminum sheeting used to replace the metal you pulled off of it since you used rivets to save on weight. Aside from that, I think it could use a fridge in the rounded front end, either one of those chest-style ones if you want to keep the panel up, but if you wanna split that panel, you could totally add a fridge with a door for cold drinks or ice-storage and still keep half of it available for water and your electrical to run through. That said, adding a high wattage appliance like a fridge would most likely require the bar to be hooked up to a vehicle or plugged into a socket rather than operating purely off battery power. A great start for a nice hobby project, I could see many ways you could take it in the future.
