I like this wood its got alot of character there is lots of nice grain and markings and the colour is lovely. The blue resin is awesome and what an unique piece of woodturning it really is stunning. The finished piece is quite nice. Good figure and an excellent finish. However I think it was a shame to lose all the beautiful natural edge. When you quartered the piece you created an outstanding rim. I believe a shallow platter would have been in order. Leave all the natural edge and still see all the great figure and color in the middle of the piece. But you were the guy holding the tools and it did turn out quite nice. 👍Thank you for sharing.
