It just isn't fair. Even if it's random, it wouldn't be balanced. Just imagine you're top tier heavy, and boom, you're out of the game. Your team could lose for no good reason. So yes, while it would be cool, it just wouldn't be fair.

Even worse than the commander's hatch are those damn cheeks next to the 200mm front upper plate. Doesn't matter if you're sidescraping or sticking your front out, it's visible and easy to hit and it's only 80mm like your side.

For me I play more low than high tier games. You're a lot more likely to be able to swing the game your way purely by virtue of not sucking than in a high tier match where you absolutely need at least two or three of your team to be able to think and breathe at the same time.

Mancboy2000 The Chally 2 is a good tank. But it's a bit low on Power/Weight and the gun doesn't quite have the range or flexibility of the Rheinmetall L/44 gun. But otherwise a very good tank.

Now that I found out Porsche design had electric transmission, I think I know why it was dismissed: mass manufacturing it would require A LOT of copper (for wires and coils), and that was a valuable strategic resource in Germany during WW II. I know German engineers jumped through hoops to save copper.

The speed is because the engines weren't actually powering the tracks, the twin engines powered two generators that powered electric engines that actually moved the treads. The henschel tiger's engine had to move the whole vehicle by itself

Electric motors do not need gears and have much, much more torque. Look up videos on the Tesla Model S, that thing has insane acceleration. The Tiger P, though, didn't have an electric MOTOR. It had an electric TRANSMISSION.

The Tiger I also costs you half as much xp to unlock which means faster progression. It took me forever to earn the 45k to get the Porsche Tiger, and now that I have it I want out. It's so easily flanked, the mid level 88 that I had unlocked on the VK P is barely average against Tier 7 and 8 tanks, and the other modules all cost over 10k xp to upgrade. Not to mention I have no desire to earn almost 100k xp to unlock the next tank. I'll be ditching this for the Tiger I once I get 25k xp and then I'll work for the Tiger II.

JURASSIC7MASTER I agree that Tiger I has a low fear factor, but so does the Panther I. They are both generally underestimated because of their low alpha damage. But they both have extremely good rate of fire, accuracy and penetration. It's not a bad tank, it's just bad as a typical heavy because of the lack of armor.

Umm... The gun mantlet is still trollish regardless of the 20mm extra armour. It's 100mm and the spaced armour. you shouldn't worry about tier 7 guns, and some tier 8 guns.

Both Tiger turrets have a certain "all or nothing" thing going on... some parts are just the listed 100mm or so, some parts have insanely thick overlapping sections.

Raiden Carlson tiger p has a huge weak spot in top of the turret, its not hard to miss. the t29 is a beast if you manage to get yourself hull-down. even tanking corners the tank is still reliable, theres really not a single thing wrong with it

Ricardo Carmine The T29 also has a weak spot on its turret. And sure it's smaller and has more effective armour. But in a head on head fight a tiger P can and will beat a T29. With some tricky maneuvering you can dodge some shots going towards that commanders hatch.

Raiden Carlson its tricky to hit it, i can bounce shots from it just by wiggling my turret. and no,if the t29 facehugs the tiger p, its game over. the only way for a tiger p to beat a t29 1 on 1, is by either having terrain advantage or the t29 being driven by a bad player

When i play my m6 and try to tank at the front lines and it never works. the armour doesn't work. the way to win in the M6 is to support and flank, but in that map flanking would have been a bad idea in that postion

The light over head for when he's spotted is a crew skill called "Sixth Sense". Jingles uses a mod to change the symbol sometimes (he's had admiral ackbar there before), but you still need to train the crew skill to use it.

When you play against what the Henschel Tiger fought it definitely does. You have to remember that in game it gets matched with tier 7-9s as well, which even the playing field. In WWII where it earned its reputation, it was fighting M4 Shermans and T-34's, which are tier 5 tanks. The armor on the tiger is good enough to do well against their best guns.

In this video the stats are the same, and thus the same in game. However take into account this video is reasonably old now and so the reload may have been changed. That or you have a better crew in your Tiger, resulting in a faster reload.

I finally found out why Russian Tank Drivers have there gas tank near them because so they can drink Vodka from it and then the commander says to driver are you drunk comrade da sir I am drunk how he ask "İt was the the Gas tank" rest of the crew says hahaha that's my comrade. The VK3601 is the most fun I have had in W.o.t, I have only got to the E-75 and a few others not above tier 5 but I would be happy if that was as far as i ever get, the tank is a monster and how its not been nerfed yet i will never know. keep the vids coming always good to watch and very informative gj.

This, and my T-29 where by far my favorite tier sevens I have ever owned, that 200mm front armor did it's job most of the time, just gotta be carfull about the cheeks. After getting the final gun, it was a new tank

Hey Jingles, about 4 months ago I commentated about your Marder II video. Now I've been playing hard since then and I'm soon to get a Ferdinand to go along with my large collection of Tier 5's and 6's. Though the UK Matilda is my most played tank. Oh I wouldn't say that. The second match I played in this after buying it again we lost 15-1. The only reason it wasn't 15-0 was because as the last tank alive (in a tier 9 match) I managed to kill a T-44 before dying.

with the normalization decrease those angled cheeks work much better than before, now the only reliable spots to shoot it at small spots on the mantlet and its cupola, at least frontally. Granted flanking it isn't too hard, considering its a frontally mounted turret which moves fairly slowly.

It is best to note that the turret armor stats do not factor in SPACED ARMOR, which forms the gun mantlet. Considering said armor, the turret face is 220mm thick, NOT the best place to be shooting. Also note that the extra armor around the MG port is not thicker than the surrounding hull.

True but the Tiger P's element is choke points or city maps where they are forced to shoot at your front. Also the T29 may have sloped frontal armor but that by itself isn't enough to stop the 203mm of penetration the Tiger P's gun has, sometimes even when angled.

Well I'd say the T29 is better in its tier than the T20, so for immediate gratification, go Heavy. The T20 does lead to the super-groovy Pershing and Patton, though.

Depends on how sloped it is. The more sloped, the better effective armor. For example a tank with 100mm thick armor sloped at 45 degrees would act as 141mm. Or if it's flat but you angle your tank at 45 degrees it would work the same way.

Jingles, there is a huge frontal weakspot on the Tiger P, which are the "cheeks" of the front hull. They have 80mm of armor and viewports on them, which makes just about anything with ~100mm penetration go through. Watch out.

@Jingles, one weak spot you forgot to mention were the "cheeks" of the front armor. Those are only 80 mm thick and at a 45 degree angle from the 200mm front armor. I have fun penning the Tiger P with my tier 4 TDs from the front even though the Tiger P was one of my favorite tanks (just behind the VK3001P)

the tiger p is so far my favorite tank. It is extremely well armored with one of the best guns for its tier. I have bounced the American t34 off the front at point blank in it, just dont rely on that

6:08 Actually, there's another explanation. Look at the running gear. The Tiger has a MASS of rubber wheels, it's basically running on constant wheel on its tracks. The Tiger P on the other hand has conventional roadwheels. There's a significant difference in rolling resistance.

Thanks, I recently picked up an SU-122-44, it's loads of fun. I'm a unicum in it for the time being. I've had two 8 kill matches, I usually average 2000 - 4000 damage and 2-4 kills. I love it. World of Tanks just frustrates me past tier 7 so far, lots of muppets who bought their way to to the top is annoying me. I've been playing since the closed beta as well, so maybe that's why I'm getting all angry. Thanks for your feedback!

While most consider the crusader a "Scout", I classify it as a combatant tank. Look at the wiki and you'll see it doesn't face tanks higher than tier 7(while my tier 4, 38nA with 62mm of pen, goes up to tier 8 matches). I believe it's because of the speed, it doesn't get scout MM, while your gun has 110mm of pen(great for some rear action, if you know what I mean) and while it's not as fast as a T-50, it's faster than most tier 5 tanks, making it good for flanking...

nope after kurst, in the schwere panzerjägerabteilung 653. also it was not only one, but most command vehicles where modified tiger p exept platoon command vehicles, also few tiger p recovery vehicles were in use in this unit

Tiger P is better then the Tiger H in the game. You can actually play it like a heavy instead of a sniper. When I first played the Tiger H i was dissapointed. Such a feared legend as the Tiger it doesn't live up to its fame in the game. However it still has its place. WW2 vets see a Tiger and they still get scared. Wish it had the same effect in the game. I liked my Tiger P though. Good tank that can take hits. Good vid man. Keep em coming

I really miss my Tiger P...which is why I was so happy when they added a line to the Ferdinand from it, because now I can go back and kick some ass in it again. Overall, it is my favorite T7 heavy, even over the normal Tiger because they are basically the same tank, just 100mm more armor on the front of the P, which, if you play it right, lets you throw down with higher tanks and still get plenty of ricos.

I was recently watching your tiger p vid and a little known fact about the tiger p is that all of the drive wheels had power to them unlike the tiger 1 which only had power in the front two drive wheels.

There is only 2 drive wheels on the tiger. Like 99% of tanks. You mean road wheels.

the vk p is really bad at sidescraping because of the almost non existent side armor. the e75 is much better at sidescraping. in return the lower glacis has almost 300 mm of effective armor
