It's time to play the Atlanta to her strengths - battleship support. The three battles I have for you today might be a bit different from what you expect, but I found them very entertaining.

Re reading Hornfischer- Neptune's Inferno, Great book on the Guadalcanal campaign. Just read the Atlanta's gunnery officer comenting on ineffective 5" fire against DDs. Great for the SG radar & AA was her superpower USN in 42 was still WAY under utilizing radar🧐

I was teamed up with you about a week ago. We were both playing Nurnberg. That has quickly become one of my favorite ships. I didn’t realize we were teamed again but on different sides until I saw this first video. I was the opposite Brooklyn. Had to do a double take a first. FYI I was trying to capture B cup in that battle based on your last video. It got me my second battle honor medal for Brooklyn! Videos are great. Keep it up. I asked you before but still hoping you do a video on the Mighty Mo. I think you will enjoy that ship. I’m gonna try to friend request ya next time I see ya in battle.

Cool! It's always nice to get someone else's thoughts who was actually in the battle. As for the Missouri, I'll do one when I eventually get her. Just refusing to pay extortionate amounts of money for loot crates, so it'll have to be through the shipyard. We'll get there eventually, but I'd guess I'll see Iowa first.

all three battles were actually recorded back-to-back. I often record footage consecutively, and then pick the interesting ones - in this case, I just kept all three.

Very possible even if you are a normal player, happens often times. Just wait for two minutes then it wont be the same team anymore, guaranteed

a lot more squishy :) The USN tech tree CLs can be surprisingly sturdy at times. Going up against a Worcester in my Des Moines, that's a surprisingly even fight.

She must be paired with a good battleship, a fast Battleship, a Tier 7 battleship, A GERMAN BATTLESHIP! SSSHHHHH..... You know of what I speak. Say nothing and pick up the “empty cans” I leave behind. You need the speed mod Terry! This ship is nothing if it can’t haul ass to, or from, a battlefield.

if I had to choose between her and a Brooklyn, I'd probably go out in the latter. Less AA, but then again, you don't always get CVs.

Hey terry something crappy happened to me, I came back from my worst game in Atlanta where i caused zero damage because some carrier decided to overkill me, but hey atleast I shot down 11 planes although I was expecting more

You should do a series with Yeah buoy!! You should make a team of subs and he selects a team of subs and you guys battle it out. That would be so cool and fun!!! I would love to see that. Some high skill game play! Or you could organize a tournament with all your subs or something!!!

It'd have to be via skirmish or similar :) I've got a rather busy schedule (work, kid etc.), and a somewhat exotic timezone, so that'd take some organising - but would be fun indeed.

she's ok, but not spectacular imo. You could play a Brooklyn, which is a lot sturdier, and have more consistent games. Atlanta needs a bit of a certain type of game to shine - she's very vulnerable to heavy cruisers and BBs if she gets too close.

Beides gute Kreuzer. Atlanta ist etwas schwieriger zu spielen, würde ich sagen, aber viele Events finden in T7 statt. Belfast ist normalerweise Standard in competitive, aber Atlanta geht auch. Mainz hält mehr aus, und ist auch im Nahkampf gefährlich. Wenn du mit Admiral Hipper gut zurecht kommst, ist Mainz einfach, Atlanta spielt eher wie ein Britischer leichter Kreuzer mit HE.

@@FunandGameswithTerry jau danke für die Info .ja kenne noch kein amerikanisches Schiff bis auf die Flugzeugträger Linie . Bei der Hipper bin ich so ein bisschen zweigeteilt . Ich jage gerne Zerstörer. Muss aber immer aufpassen nicht den großen Schiffen zu nahe zu kommen sonst werde ich zerschossen. Kann man mit der Mainz gut Feuer legen ? Ich suche noch so einen richtigen Flammenwerfer ;-)

I been getting alot of derp players on my team lately. It makes me want to just have an option to block people so you don't get matched on same team with them

The worst I've seen was 2 BB completely out of the fight and no way to assist the rest of team because they were too far. I've seen a BB do a 180 and head away from the fight and it had 100% health. There should be a test before leaving tier 3 lol

Takes a while to get used to her. In the USN CL line (Dallas and up), you can actually manoeuvre a bit, they're not as tanky as the CAs, but the Atlanta is extremely squishy, so island cover is a must.
