​@@lseguy in the Weissach package, you can't. However, you can't in the "record breaker" Plaid either. And I doubt 50 kg between the record breaking Taycan and the non-Weissach version would make an enormous difference on the track anyway.

@@lseguyWell, the first car’s lap beat the record by over 2 seconds. The “spare” car’s lap beat that by another .5 seconds, total 2.5 seconds. In a race assuming no stops or tire degradation, at Laguna Seca, the previous record holder would be lapped in 37 laps. And yes, since the Taycan is a 4 door, you could sit in the back seat during the laps although this particular version doesn’t have rear seats. They’ll just strap you in tight among the roll bars and bracing.

the car used only has the weissach package so basically -70 kilos, rear seats removed, roll cage and spoiler. Nothing aftermarket as far as I’m aware.

How much SOC is consumed by one lap? This question is key for track-day and hobby drivers. This will help establishing such cars into the scene together with providing the needed charging infrastructure to racetracks (see Nordschleife, where only a handful of chargers are in close distance).
