@indianfan10297 ай бұрын
Not a good pairing for Hikaru. Gukesh will spot all his tactics. It would have been better for Hikaru to play some other player. Also, he shouldn't have drawn today. There was chance to play. Tomorrow he may not even get a chance to play for a win.

If you're Hikaru, you can't really ask for much more to be facing off with the 17 year old inexperienced leader of the candidates tournament only down half a point. Fabi and Nepo's game should be nuts, a tactical slugfest. Gukesh should probably play for the draw knowing hikaru has to press. Minimize risk and just try to guarantee at least one more winner take all game. Will his inexperience lead him to stumble into tactical positions that pose complications even if they are still evaluated by engines as equal. Hikaru is especially adept at understanding lines and moves that pose complications so it could still go either way! Cannot wait for it!
Good Luck to Gukesh I have faith in him he will hold his own vs Hikaru he’s been so impressive even when the going doesn’t look great Gukesh has hung in there and prevailed I hope he wins tomorrow I would be thrilled

Let's recognize that Magnus stepping down was the best thing from the entertainment point of view. If it was him instead of Abasov, there would be no more drama in the candidates at this point

Hey Levy, I have been watching your videos for a little over a year, and you really inspired me to restart my passion for chess. I learned how to play at an early age from my grandpa, and I stopped playing until early 2023, when I came across your videos. Ever since I started playing again I improved from 600-1300 and started playing again with my grandpa. I also joined a local chess club and have started playing in person tournaments. I love how you explain each video and all your concepts, and I've also been reading the new book. Thank you for bringing my interest in chess back!

Chess is so amazing these days mostly b/c of these amazingly consistent new personalities and talents . But hugely because of commentary by experts like GMs Polgar, Hess and Naroditsky.. However the Howard Cosell , the bloody Steven A. Smith of this game is Levy. His play by play is what this Game of Kings has been waiting for, what it deserves! Thanks my man !
