hey thats pretty much the build i beat my first playthrough with. it was a damn slog but i loved it. lost my pants when i found the scarlet rot dagger because crafting the arrows to apply it was awful. reduvia is better in main hand due to the range and damage for its weapon art. also check out the thumbprint greatshield. fully upgraded with the greatshield talisman gives you 100% guard boost for no stamina loss when blocking

That's my next build actually. Tack on +2 Pearldrake to lessen elemental chip, and you're basically unkillable. Debating on having a friend drop me a second fingerprint shield, or running ruins greatsword. I know I'll be fatrolling, but you shouldn't even be rolling if you're using that shield.

I started off putting a bunch of points into Endurance and Strength (currently 30 and 33 respectively), and then later put them towards Mind and Intelligence. As a dual shield user, it's very viable, granted some fights are lessons in patience as the attack range plus skinny pete legs on some bosses makes you miss a lot, just unlock and aim it, have the crit dagger for when you stun one and it's very tricky to die. Malekith and mel-chan might cause you some rage with the whole I replace your shield and give you aids thing they have going on.

The club did fine damage. 36 Str is just barely over the requirements of the club. And +5 is like nothing. At this state of the game you should have something like +17 to +20 That's the problem of playing crab like the sword of night flame, you get used to unhealthy numbers of damage

You should not use Rivers blood. It got Nerf into oblivion. So did dual stance Sepuku but I just made a arcane build and it’s still pretty busted using dual nagakiba and sepuku

Gone thru majority of this game with Bloodhound Fang and a few days ago I got Radahns armor. So now im lvl 116, 69 Dexterity and +9 Bloodhound Fang, challenging but been real fun playing this game 😁

I currently am dual wielding the bloody greatsword thing that heals you on kills charlie used in this video and black gargoyles greatsword. Once I buff both hav around 900-950 ar. I do so much damage and poise damage it's delicious

fr that's why i save my dex/mage builds for later runs and go with just mid-tier strength or quality builds first time through to maintain a challenge but always fun watching how different everyone chooses to run this masterpiece

i found strength builds in the game super OP. over 1k damage per swing and i could tank upwards of 5 hits from late game bosses before i needed to heal. hell, with my strength build i beat morgott without dodging once

@@communisticus191 the issue I was having is strength feels very lacking early game compared to spells and dex bleed builds. I am seeing that strength is definitely catching up and becoming strong in the late game myself. Early game though strength is absolute shit. The weapons feel so lackluster I damage and shields barely tank anything.

@@slaayerr1 i find early game weird in general. sorcerers have great early game options in the form of rock throw and meteorite staff, but they dont really get anything else more useful for a long long time, so it can get kinda boring to have the exact same spells and gear as you did right at the start (since basically every new spell you get is worse than the last). of course, that is better than pure strength, which doesnt really get any options until mid game, but its still an issue imo. and bleed builds in general are insane at all stages of the game, though early in limgrave it can kinda suck using the dagger, since about 60% of attacks dont hit godrick unless hes looking the other way.
