@@mr.skully8787 It doesn't have optical switches, so double clicking will always be an issue. Since it is also a budget product, the overall switch quality will probably put it at a higher risk of double clicking, though I'm not sure if that's 100% the case

I'm so glad it's big, I have pretty big hands and so I prefer to have a large mouse when I saw a picture of it, it seemed kinda small/slim but now that I see it, it looks perfect for me

How is it faring now? Does it look sturdy enough? I used to own a Deathadder 2013 but it got faulty after around 4 and a half years because I had the same issue as you were saying at the start. How about getting this one now, since it's basically the same product, updated to 2019/2020 material standards? Am torn between this and the V2.

My last mouse was razer deathadder chroma and it was a super amazing mouse but despite the branding and quality, it couldnt withstand a full year of hardcore gaming. Although it still works atm, the scroll wheel is broken lol. Sad life. Im using the logitech hero

I like my razer mouse because i have big hands, I'm not a gamer... The left click button died... then the wheel click.... I fixed the left click by taking the part from a logitch that I lost the dongel to. The wheel click comes and goes. They still sell these so keep that in mind, they may have had button supply issues or something. And the glue holding the rubber grips on somehow gets wet, I guess from fingers, and the grips slide off. had to use lighter fluid to remove the gunk. Still use the mouse though.

Bought one of these when they first came out in 2010. some time this year the buttons started being intermittent. Razer sells no parts for repair. Found an online company that sells mouse pads and replacement switches. I repaired the mouse, really wasn't that tough. Still works great. Why did I fix it instead of buying a new one?? It is a LEFT handed mouse. I do not like Razers new left hand mouse. All of the buttons on the side do not help me. As long as I can repair it, I'll keep using it.

I've been using this Razer for couple of weeks now. Playing AOE4. The problem I am facing is that, the drag issue. When I drag click on a group of unit or even click a single unit very few times it doesn't work, it releases the click. I am frustrated with this mouse. Other than that works fine. And also I am 5'6'', too large for my hand. Bigger than normal A4tech 620D.

DO NOT buy the Razer Deathadder Essential mouse! IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE. I am not kidding. I purchased a Deathadder Essentials mouse in June 2020 that lasted only 6 months (the scroll wheel stopped working). Razer replaced the mouse with a new Deathadder Essentials mouse and 7 months later, the mouse cable shorted out and got so hot it STARTED A FIRE on my desk. It caused extensive burning/scorching to my desk's wood top. Two defective mice in barely over a year! To be fair, Razer Support responded super quick, and I am satisfied with their resolution of the situation. I wish more companies had as responsive customer service as Razer. I still do NOT recommend the Deathadder Essentials mouse though!

Yeah mate and not just that, the scroll wheel is also acting up. The double click is not severe, it’s usable but scroll wheel is pretty damn annoying.
