I like my millennial anti theft device, I don’t plan on going past stage one. It should be fine, upgraded me clutch to South Bend, staying with OE flywheel. For street application nothing beats OEM flywheel

Its funny you say this because if left stock, the manual transmissions are wayyyy more reliable than the dsg.

That’s what Javad says at 1:30, but once tuned say Stage 2 the DSG is much more reliable, and faster.

Well now you know to sell the car and buy a DSG 👌🏼

Right..They wasted 3 minutes talking out their ass. You guys hate manuals. We get it…Just get to the actual question and point.

You still didn't really ansewr the question about upgrading the flywheel????? All you said was that you guys specifically don't mess with them. No information about whether it's worth to upgrade. Or if you should get a lightweight vs stock weight???

We do not have any specific advice on B8 manual transmission clutch and flywheel modifications and we do not sell any products to do that. There are lots of companies that do specialize in that, Thanks!

You got to relax people remember there are only very few people in the whole world who can drive a manual let alone invest thousands of dollars into it. I think the oem one is the best, the shifter needs changing though an you can through in a steel clutch line for good measures.

I've always had WAY better luck with manuals than slushimatics. That's why 90% of my vehicles have been manuals
@034motorsport2 жыл бұрын
The fact that you're calling it a "slushmatic" shows you have a very inaccurate perception of what a modern "automatically shifted" transmission is. You still think they shift like automatics in the 80's and 90's, and that's very wrong.

@@034motorsport I've just never had nor have I seen any of my friends with an auto that held up unless heavily modified.
@034motorsport2 жыл бұрын
@@logut80 we tune these transmissions for a living, they hold up great, yes they need to be flashed with a TCU tune to hold the increased torque and shift requirements, all the fastest cars in the world run these automatic transmissions, overall manual transmissions are much more problematic in high performance applications, requiring major clutch and flywheel upgrades that often slip and fail.
