That’s one thing I can say Vince was good about: he was willing to do anything and everything that he would’ve expected of talent. We're approaching the worst of WCW pre-Russo. The Ultimate Warrior fiasco, the end of Goldberg's streak and the finger poke of doom. WCW tried hiring Russo to recover from that and he made everything much worse. I think Bischoff booked himself into a corner and he gave too much power to some people and he didn't know how to get out of the hole he'd digged. Vince McMahon had found his groove with Stone Cold, the Rock, DX, Undertaker, Kane and Mankind and later on the addition of the Dudleys, Kurt Angle, Trish Stratus, Lita and the Radicalz. He found the Acolytes kinda randomly and he "discovered" the Hardys, Edge & Christian and by late 99 and early 2000 WCW might as well have surrendered.
@troywright359 Жыл бұрын
FPoD was botched, it should have worked well. Ultimate Warrior still got buys and was interesting to fans, just handled badly. Godlbergs streak had to end at some point.
