I wanted to drop this a day ago to end November on top. We obviously couldn't but I'm glad with the way the video turned out, for me, it's top 10 I ever made. Bryan's run was filled with some great promos(a bunch of them weren't on TV), great matches and you felt like he enjoyed every second of his return. What did you think of the New Daniel Bryan's title reign?

Bryan's vegan era was some of the best character work I've seen. A once cheered and beloved underdog babyface, turned into a dispicable nature lover who blames the fans for being fickle, the same fans who supported him on his journey to the top.

Daniel Bryan's heel turn really had a positive effect on SmackDown in 2019. His heel run gave him an edge and opened up a new, refreshing side to his character. I also like that the way his title run ended with Kofimania was a full circle moment, just like it had happened for Bryan at WrestleMania 30. This was easily the best thing on SmackDown during that period and I enjoyed every moment of it.

'The Planet's Champion' was one of my favorite runs, DB killed it and you could tell he was having so much fun with the character; he really did put his all into it. One of the funniest moments for me was that promo where he was looking at fans and yelling "impotent! Change it!" 🤣

I think his heel turned laid the groundwork for years to come in the wrestling business. That no matter who it is, you can turn them heel and you won’t lose much. I bet WWE didn’t want to make him a bad guy because they thought fans wouldn’t boo Bryan after being gone for so long. But if the wrestler is good enough like a Daniel Bryan, you can go ahead and do it, and after a couple months or years, the face turn will be just as good. Tbh I don’t even remember how Bryan turned face after this lol

Idk if it’s just me but the planet friendly championship title for me is one of the best looking belts. It’s certainly one of the smartest: the wood being used only coming from fallen trees, the use of natural gems rocks and minerals, and the burlap backing of the strap itself. Kofi is my all time fav and the belt for me at least represents a wonderful point in time which provides one of the most underrated championship reigns in history and one of the best builds ups for any baby face ever.

The heel turn of Daniel Bryan back in 2018 is what started this gimmick and title reign.. although it was special, I just didn't like his heel persona and "Fickle" movement as a fan because I adored the Yes Movement way better .. but Kofimania was very special for me given the fact I was truly behind Kofi Kingston rooting for him and he did the unthinkable capturing the WWE Championship 🏆 .. 2019 for me as a fan of professional wrestling made this a historical moment I'll never forget ❤

I wish I saw this run when it happened. 2018 was a terrible year for wwe creative wise. When I heard Kofi Kingston was getting a push and Batista was returning I started watching again. This was such an awesome title reign. I remembered how at first I was very mad at Bryan, cause I legit wanted AJ Styles to have a longer reign and potentially be the one to dethrone CM Punk as longest reigning WWE champ given he was full time unlike Lesnar and when Bryan did what he did to win, I was saddened and mad. But when I later discovered what he had become and what he did, I was blown away by how great he was. His matches were amazing and his stories were top notch. Although it didn’t last long, it was fun while it lasted.😁👍
