Txs for reacting to Dimash. Know that Dimash beside mixing genres in songs alsp has songs in many genres. And he is multy talented with almost every song something in it. Even after 50 songs you have not seen everything or know what he can do. Dimash is much more than only range but i must say in this song he did have NOT really high notes because he can sing much higher. But also much lower and longer.

I can`t explain how dope this reaction video was for me :) I left a comment a while ago, hoping you would do a reaction someday, and now when I saw your video pop up, I freaked out. You`re not a run of the mill "youtube reactor" like many others, you sound like an honest guy with nothing to lose or to pander to, and with a professional opinion, and I hoped so much that you will like what you hear with Dimash. So glad it turned out to be this song, since you liked it this much :) Dimash has songs in a bajillion styles, and this is the first time when he decided to compose such a blend. I don`t know if you would like his other style songs. But just for the voice analysis, maybe at some point you could check out his 'introduction song', "SOS". SOS 2021 is awesome, you can see the band rockin` out too :) He can fully sing in ~4.5-5 octaves, and hit notes in 7 octaves. He can stay in soprano range for long phrases, and go up to F6 (he did a new version of 'Ave Maria' in full soprano), he can stay in baritone and go down to A1. Usually stays in tenor with lifts into soprano. But even in a 1.5-2 octave song, he uses so many textures and techniques, that it`s never boring, even if the genre is not necessarily someone`s favorite. Just the brain workout alone, listening to him, is delicious 😄 Thank you again for the video :) Sorry for posting as a reply to your pinned comment, didn`t mean to spam you :)) Just had to express my relief and joy :) P.S. I`ve been roaming through your spotify list for a couple of weeks now and I love it 😁👍

You have just discovered the most amazing voice to ever walk this planet. And this is not just a subjective statement. This is a fact. Get ready for a rollercoaster. Originally Dimash is from somewhere in space. No one knows where exactly he came from but we won't let him go back there. 😂 No one knows what he is, regardless of the fact that he looks like a human. I personally saw him twice and I still don't know if he is real. He sings like an angel, some people say he is an alien, but not long a go he appears as a vampire. 😁 After 6 years of listening Dimash I'm still figuring out the puzzle. He is perfect in all musical genres - pop, opera, rock, R&B, folk, rap and whatever else you can think of. He is a composer, plays 7 instruments, sings in more than 12 languages, and his range is the whole piano and more. And in every octave he sounds perfect. He is unique. Dimash is not equal to any other human being. He is the only one. God forgot to stop when he reached him. He gave him a lot, a lot, really a lot of everything. Most likely his computer crashed and he couldn't stop in time. 😄 Dimash is goddamn the best. His voice cuts the notes exactly like a laser. It's not possible to put him within the limits of human understanding of "the best singer". He passes any earthly boundaries and he simply launched directly into space. Even the best world music is too limited for him. He is huge. He is not on a global level. He is on a galactic level. Dimash is like fresh air. He launches us into another world, into another dimension with different sensations. His style is unique. He is pure, real music - alive, breathing music, not a cold, computer studio product. He doesn't even need a recording studio. It's enough to record his live performances on stage and it is already perfect enough. He graduated from the music conservatory with pop and opera singing. He will soon receive his Ph.D. He likes to mix styles and genres, so in one piece you can taste all aspects of his voice. On top of that he is just 29. Soon will turn 30. So, a very warm welcome to the madness called Dimash. 😂 Just don't forget to turn on the subtitles, because the lyrics to all his songs are extremely meaningful.

Basically The stanard piano keyboard is his playground... Opera, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Kazakh folk... and any other he fells like. And just so you know, when Dimash walks in the front door, autotune sneeks out the back, with his pink slip in his pocket. Dimash has been professionally trained since the age of 5. He will be 30 in a couple of months. He has a Master's Degree in Composition, and is working on his PHD. Go to his KZbin channel, and you will find an extensive catalogue of his performances, including several of his concerts. I highly recommed his New York concert, where he speaks mostly English. Nice to meet You..I'll be back for more Dimash.

Te sugiero escuchar SOS, Stranger, Olímpico, Sinfull passion, Across endless dimensions, Oceans over the time, El amor es como un sueño, Omir, y su obra maestra: Requiem: The story of one Sky

(Turn on cc's as it is sung in French) Dimash has a very deep catalogues as he has been an internation mega star since 2017. Too bad The Music Mafia blocks all who are not held slave in their clutches or all of us would have know him so much sooner.🙄😉 Dimash is also stubborn but minus the arrogance. He is very perfectionistic, humble and generous and puts in hours of practise every day without fail. This new dark love song is a lot of fun.😂❤ 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦

Dimash broke the internet in China when he sang his first song SOS. With 600 million hits on Weibo. Dimash is so much more than the greatest vocalist on the planet. He has sang in 14 languages . Languages that he doesn’t even speak. Yet is able to convey the message of the song to the audience which emotes tears. He plays 6 or 7 instruments. He is a humanitarian and much of his music is reflective of this. He was a on the show “ The Worlds Best” ( please do not watch these episodes as they treated Dimash with very little respect. He humbly asked to be removed from the show when he discovered that he would be competing against children. His culture does not compete against children but rather teaches, and nourish them. Ultimately walking away from the $1 million dollars he was pretty much guaranteed to win. In my 60 years on the planet I have never witnessed an artist with so much to offer. The greatest voice on the planet being only part of the package❤

Good morning! Hoppa, a new Dimash reactor. I'm very pleased that you shared your reaction with us, even though you hesitated for a while. I can understand you. When everyone is shouting about how great someone is, you're almost ... hm ... repulsed ...? Somehow you almost feel pressurised, because it just sounds too good to be true. I'm glad you liked this song. If you want to make a reaction video to Dimash again, be prepared that he will sound completely different, simply because he doesn't just stay in one genre or language, but switches between them fluently, combines them (I'm only telling you this so that you won't be "disappointed" because you might have expected something similar to this song in the next one). I'm now in my sixth year of travelling these planets as one of Dimash's "Dears" and I don't regret a day of it. I'm addicted to his voice, I'll admit that. So addicted, in fact, that I'll be hopping on a plane again in May to attend my third solo concert of his (which is bonkers, as I don't particularly like live concerts - the pushing and shoving, the crowds, the screaming) ... Let's put it this way: Dimash has made me love music genres that I otherwise don't like and enjoy things that I actually hate or do scare me. Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

I came here to watch a reaction to Dimash but was pleasantly surprised to find your band's very exciting music as well. I will be investigating further! Although I have been passionately following Dimash for over seven years (because as a music obsessed individual I fully believe he is the greatest singer on the planet), this particular song does not impress me much in terms of his vocals and is not at all representative of his truly phenomenal talent. You might be surprised to learn that much of Dimash's music is epic in somewhat the same way that yours is. (Yes, Dimash can even do a metal scream). Some of the most dramatic orchestration in his music occurs in "Oliimpico," (I would select the live performance that occurs on producer Igor Krutoy's channel for the most exhilarating experience), "Stranger," and "Omir Oter" (the live version from his 2021 digital show.) I hope to see more Dimash reactions from you and I will definitely be sampling your band's music starting immediately.

Hello, fellow mid-westerner! Everyone will know exactly who you mean if you only call him just Dimash, but just so you know, the last name is pronounced koo-die-bear-gen. I’ve heard the stress pronounced on all syllables except “die”. Soft roll the “r” if you wanna get fancy lol. Igor Krutoy (you’ll soon learn about him from Dears if you carry on down the rabbit hole) pronounces it at the beginning of Dimash’s “Love Is Like a Dream”, if you need audio. Subbed for more Dimash and going to check out your band! Seems right up my alley (outside of that 18 months when I literally listened to nothing but Dimash LOL)!

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With friendship Rui Baptista

Is Dimash the best singer alive? The answer to this is very subjective. When you ask who the “best” singer is, what are you asking? the most skilled? the widest range? the best sounding? Dimash Kudaibergen is a highly skilled vocalist with his voice spanning about 6 octaves, he has great versatility in his singing ranging from traditional, pop, opera, ballads, etc. But the real answer is up to you! He is truly amazing! His vocal range (and yes, this is his “sung range”) was analyzed by ab expert a few months ago (a voice teacher with absolute hearing), with the following result: His so far publicly shown “sung” vocal range spans from A1 to D8, that’s 7 octaves and 5 semitones (and thus, 1 semitine less than 7 octaves). But both his low and high notes have been very well-controlled so far, he hasn’t shown us the edges of his range yet (also his lower range will expand over time, he’s still very young) He is famous for having an unusually wide vocal range and his ability to sing in more than fifteen languages. Dimash was born Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan on the 24th of May, 1994. When he was only five years old, Dimash began taking vocal and piano lessons at the children's section of the Akhmet Zhubanov Music College. He continued his training throughout his school years and eventually attended the music institute of K. Zhubanov University. He graduated in 2014 with a classical music degree centred on vocal ability. He continued his musical education by studying contemporary music Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. He successfully received a Master's degree in Composition and was even recommended for the PhD program. In December 2014, he was awarded a laureate of the State Youth Prize Daryn. He released his first album in China the same year, and it went platinum in thirty-seven seconds! Singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist Genres Classical crossover pop folk classical world operatic pop I cant say he is best singer in the world because answer will be subjective anyway that's question like which one is better Vincent van Gogh or Leonardo da Vinci but as amateur vocalist I can say technically he is best vocalist who is still living in the planet not just because of he has amazing range but he mastered at every register and technique especially his flagellate register(his soprano falsetto voice) also his whistle register better then any male singer then I ever heard and his mix register technique incredible and he mastered at belt canto technique at level of opera singers.

'flageolet' register :) that is the spelling, had no idea myself, I looked it up at some point. It`s above soprano, it translates to 'flute', it`s similar as mechanism to whistle, but as opposed to whistle, it`s still connected mechanism. Soprano register is soprano register, soprano "head voice", for the 5th and 6th octave, and flageolet is for the upper part of the 6th octave, around E6, F6.

Congratulations for entering the Amazing world of Dimash! He has no genre because he can sing it all. I'm not exaggerating; Opera, blues, contemporary, ballads, rap, folklore, etc. He can sing, I believe in 16 languages and is fluent in several. He has a Masters in music composition. He can play like 7 instruments and is working on his PHD. He's a very generous and humble man and a Humanitarian. As far as his voice is concerned, he can sing 7 octaves doing several in one run. He can hold a perfect note for 25 seconds, perhaps longer now. You were impressed with this, well you haven't heard anything yet. Plus he has other videos as well. There are many live performances and I don't mean phone videos, I mean the real thing. He has ruined it for many of us because after listening to his incredible voice, every other singer is lame. You compared him to others but, trust me the more you discover Dimash, you'll realize NO ONE compares to him. It's also funny how many think he's small, well he is actually 6'3" weighing about 190lbs. I'm betting you'll soon become a "Dear". That's what he calls his fans, "Dears". Thanks for a great reaction❣️

This is typical of DIMASH. Meaning it ISN'T typical! The only style/genre DIMASH is the DIMASH GENRE! Every song 🎵 is different.

Dimash is even better live, he does all genres (Opera, Rock, Pop, Folk, Rap, everything really!) and has a range of well over 7 octaves. His soprano register is angelic! His Base and Baritone registers are just beautiful! Go to his channel, all his live performances and full concerts are there as well as his MV’s which are always mini-movies his masterpiece The Story of One Sky MV cost him 7 million USD. I would suggest next the song that made him famous all over the world SOS which shows about 4 octaves of his range (in one phrase!) my favourite live performance of SOS is at the Slavic Bazaar 2018. He won the Slavic Bazaar competition in Belarus in 2015, here he’s invited back as a guest, in 2021 he was one of the judges.

Welcome to our beloved Dimash world! You saw how Dimash composed and musically produced this...His father is the general producer, as well! His whole family is very talented. This is the thing: Dimash is the master of EVERYTHING. Follow him...I PROMISE you, you will be SHOCKED in EVERY video! One thing: Do NOT get stuck in the "classic rock" thing. Dimash goes across EVERY SINGLE GENRE. His big inspiration wasn't in the classic rock thing genre...it was Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Andre Bocelli, Placido Domingo (who he recently did a duet with!). This is tame compared to what he is capable of doing, as you will hopefully find out. He goes off the piano scale in the lows, and way off the piano scale in the highs. I would look for El Amor En Ti to see how he does EVERYTHING in one song. Loved your reaction!

I used to sing professionally… seeing Dimash’s SOS performance just shook me and made me reconsider everything that I thought I knew about the voice. I initially assumed that reports of a 7+ octave range must be false… until I watched the performances and counted myself. What really gets me though is how flawlessly he controls his voice despite huge shifts in range, genre, and technique. I mean not long before this video dropped, he was singing pure bel canto opera with Placido Domingo… His voice and style just defies any attempt to classify it

Dimash is so diverse, it's hard for people to understand. You never know what you're going to get when you pick one of his songs. What you do know is each one is going to be insanely good! I hope you continue to explore his music. Here are a few suggestions based on what type of music you seem to like (in no particular order). Stranger (new wave version is best IMO) - people often say it has a very "Game of Thrones" vibe to it. This song will give you a pretty good idea of his range, but just know it doesn't encompass his whole range (which is insane). His cover of Queen's The Show Must Go On (he didn't speak English at the time, so some pronunciation is off). Across Endless Dimensions - closest to "metal" type vocals that he has shown so far. Olympico from Igor Krutoy's channel (Igor is the composer) - this is song is in Italian and kind of a rock-opera vibe. Finally, SOS from his digital show. I think you will love the visuals and I feel this is a more mature version of this song, which is his "calling card". This song is in French and from the rock opera named Starmania.

Thank you for your reaction and welcome to the family of Dears! Dimash is a singer from Kazakhstan with an almost 7 octave range (he will turn 30 in May). Besides having an enormous vocal range, Dimash also sings in multiple languages, in multiple styles and is a multi instrumentalist. Please react to the best version of his break-out song (to the entire world, that is, because he was already well known in some parts of the world) which is the 2017 Singer version of the song SOS: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U Then also please react to a compilation of Dimash playing multiple instruments: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKq6pnmXg7CSbck and Olimpico/Ogni Pietra: a modern operatic piece with a great jungle drumbeat and fantastic lightshow (IN ITALIAN!) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY A more classical piece with female singers Lara Fabian and Aida Garifulina, Ti Amo Cosi: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpK0d5mneJifpLc Then there's a movie score called Across Endless Dimensions in which his adlibs can easily rival with any heavy metal guitar solo kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5bJeop8nalrl5Y Also watch the Queen medley he did with the Super Vocal Boys, in which he does some distorted rock screams and especially pay attention to the very last note he sings in the medley, which he starts as the first of the 4 singers, but ends the last, it's amazing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGTRnJ-Qetino5I Most recently Dimash did a classical duet with one of his idols, Maestro Placido Domingo kzbin.info/www/bejne/morQdpahf89rqc0. Placido Domingo, born Jan. 21, 1941 and Dimash, born May 24, 1994 singing this classic duet on December 10, 2023. So there's 53 years between them, let that sink in for a moment. Placido's voice is still wonderful at age 82 in this clip.

Maybe you'd like an instrumental, like River of Love, or to see The Story of One Sky, his mv that gained him an audience with the Pope. Your choice. Have fun. Your song was good too. I've subscribed.

FINALLY. But there are TONS of AMAZING live performance clips on Dimash’s channel! Also, the live phone clip of “The Story of One Sky” is still an excellent recording. But because you understand the importance of stagecraft and how it impacts a musical performance, I STRONGLY recommend two specific videos to start with: “SOS at Slavic Bazaar” and “Love is Like a Dream” - the one where he is in a eggplant colored velvet suit with a pianist accompanying him. The pianist is the guy who composed the song - Igor Kratoy. The third must see ASAP is “Sinful Passion” live with A Studio. A Studio is the band accompanying him in this performance. The keyboardist wrote the song. Dimash adds a Kazakh song of mourning near the end as a tribute to a band member who passed away recently. You are gonna reach heaven when you see these. There are three great versions of SOS on his channel. You will get a lot of fans request one of them. The reason I recommend the Slavic Bazaar version is because of his stage presence in that performance. He is just standing alone on this gigantic stage, and at first he looks like a little boy smiling sheepishly in his dad’s suit. But then he starts to perform and everything changes. It’s a study in command of stage by understatement. Every glance, every slight movement of even a finger, every time he switches hands with the mic. All deliberate and done to enhance the performance. It will give you chills I promise.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Dimash! Glad you enjoyed your first taste! This is actually the first song in this genre that Dimash has done as far as I am aware (the sort of Bluesy style). I enjoyed hearing about all the impressive bits you heard in it. When it come to vocal ability, this song is actually one of Dimash's "tamer" ones. He is excellent at runs, both up and down. (You may like to check out a lovely run he did in his cover of "Diva Dance" from the Fifth Element at his Bastau concert several years ago.) He has a huge vocal range as well as being able to sing with many different dynamics. To get a quick overview of his various "voices" I would suggest "Stranger" New Wave version. (Just be warned that it is almost always blocked by YT so you will very likely need to cover it in some way.) He also sings many genres and in many languages. He speaks his native Kazakh, Russian and a good deal of English as well as some Mandarin. Though he doesn't always pronounce everything right, (None of us do) he never lets a language slow him down! He even sang a song in one of his concerts in a language he doesn't speak after only hearing it the day before the concert! I hope you will enjoy many more of his songs! 🇨🇦

He can do rock/blues, like this. But he can do anything, and every song of his is different. He made me appreciate all styles, go out of my box. As next songs, out of your rock box, and into Dimash’s universe, try these completely different songs: Stranger (in English, Games of Thrones-like, epic, showing his range), “Ave Maria” (soprano range, absolutely mesmerising), “Omir Live” (in Kazakh, soft, intimate, he wrote the song and the lyrics) and Ikanaide (in Japanese, an absolute MASTER CLASS in singing), El Amor En Ti (which he composed) and then for the contrast, and to see him like we do in live concerts, “Screaming Idol Hits” (in English). When you’ve done all of these, and you kind of start to know him, then do “The Story Of One Sky” music video (in English, focus on the imagery and the symbols). Love from Belgium ❤.

I love his versatility and creativity... and the moment in the video when he smiles sensually cheeky at us, his dears, as if to say: 'Look at me and scream and rage.' ' ...and the two voices that come out of the scratchy gramophone are the original recordings of the LAKME flower duet from 1915 with two Russian sopranos (Maria Mikhailova (1864-1943) (soprano, interpreting Lakmé) and Antonina Panina (1870-1941) (mezzo-soprano, interpreting Mallika) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2LLXoKVbZWNp5o In the Dimash News it is written: On February 26, 2024 in Istanbul, Dimash Qudaibergen presented a music video for a new work “When I’ve got you”. The premiere took place as part of a press conference held by the artist in connection with his upcoming solo concert in Turkiye. The main idea of the clip belongs to Dimash and the MV’s director Galym Asylov: “A world-famous artist, who leads a very private lifestyle, decided to give his first open interview. The young journalist chosen by him goes to the meeting in great excitement, immensely worried and tormented by the question: “What if?…”. The woman’s vivid imagination suggests a mysterious image of the main character and plunges her into a mystical story. “Everyone knows that Dimash is a kind and simple person. Not much is known about his personal life, he does not often appear in the media space and does not give particularly personal interviews. We wanted to present the artist from a slightly different side, in a “book”, fictionalized image”, - shared the director. Galym Assylov and Zhanibek Gusmanov - the second director of the project and line producer say that the shooting process was very interesting, it took place in Almaty. A creative team of more than 70 people worked on the clip with the involvement of specialists from China. It was there that the costume of the main character was sewn and together with Kazakhstan specialists created the whole image of the artist. The casting was not simple enough: many actresses and models were tried for the role of the main character and other characters. Three locations were used in the clip, and the search for ancient culture was not an easy task. In a creative atmosphere, a large international team tried to create a mysterious story in every element of the interior, in every detail of the costume, in every frame. The composition itself was written by Dimash. The author of the lyrics was Candice Kelly. The co-writer of the lyrics, co-producer, orchestrator and arranger was Dmytro Gordon. “Working with Dimash is a dream for many, and I felt extremely honored and privileged that he has entrusted me to work on this song with him. It felt like a great responsibility, as “When I’ve Got You” was a step into a new direction for Dimash as an artist, and it was also something different for his core audience. Dimash told me that for some time, he wanted a track on the verge of blues, jazz, rock, and r&b, and my suggestion was to make it sound fresh and edgy - something raw but beautiful, something truly unexpected. That has resulted in a blend of some heavy drums, electric guitars and piano together with the orchestra, synthesizers, harmonica, and even a choir. We wanted the song to sound groovy, cinematic, epic, and bold. No holding back!,” shared Dmytro Gordon.
