This video is most likely the last video honoring Macho Man Randy Savage before his passing. This video was released May 19 2011, Macho passed away May 20 2011. For just this one video, Jay got to praise Randy Savage as a living legend. In earnest adoration, this video did a hell of a job. God Bless You, Macho Man.

WWE Network deleted 27 of our vids - we must rebuild! The Wrestling Classic is a once-off WWF PPV from November 1985. It featured a 16-man tournament where a fan could win a Rolls Royce, and Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Piper! I covered it myself during recording WM1 and WM2. NEW! Included Macho Man's debut.

Hell yeah!! The headband, the sunglasses, the way he taped up his hands, the 3 stars on the front of his trunks & Macho Man on the back, boots with stars on them. I also always picture him with the "Winged Eagle" championship belt around his waist as well. He was & always will be my absolute favorite of all time. He could do it all man....... Also something not related, I love that steamboat ran over to Davey boy to make sure he was ok after the match was over. Face showing love & concern for another face. Little details were so awesome back then.

My father bought The Wrestling Classic on VHS for me in probably 1989 when I was 6. I had no clue who some of these guys were, and when I saw that Tito Santana was IC champion I was shocked. I didn't even see him in Strike Force, no clue that guy had ever held a belt.

16:44 Jay doesn't understand why the commentators would praise Tito for entering this tournament instead of invoking his right as I-C champ to skip it. Why not compete? Because, Jay, you put yourself at risk of losing the title later by being injured slightly, or just worn out and thereby weakened in a future title defense, or so badly hurt you have to forfeit it outright!
