It's a tie breaker, if the side with less time manages to draw, it's actually considered a win (Armageddon)

Bro Firouzja needs to start grinding chess again, he could be the next Carlsen! He's that guy, he's him. Chess now, Louis Vuitton later! 💪 Edit: He's one of the few people chasing his dreams and doing what makes him happy which is also very respectable. Sadly, many people these days fail to do or to even realize that.

Yes, even though Nodirbek became GM first, Alireza has better results overall and his rating also speaks for Alireza. Im not an expert though, lol.

Not unless they are playing by standard rules. If they are playing, as was the case here, where one of the players WINS with a TIE, then the time differential makes sense.
