Here in the PNW Sweet William reseeds itself year after year, BUT they are the shorter variety so stems are never long. They bloom in VERY early spring--by April so its fun to have them --I am just a home gardner and love having anything early spring for blooms!

Could you please do a Seed Talk on ornamental grasses; when to sow, plant out, harvest, all of it. I'm growing some for the first time with so-so results. Thanks for the great info.

I have Electron and Sweet Coral seedlings in 3/4 inch blocks in my basement that are doing great! I’m in Zone 5b and will be planting them out the first or second week of September since my first frost is October 15th. Thank you for teaching me soooo much! 🌸

Love both of those varieties! The 'Sweet Coral' really glows out in the garden and in bouquets, and 'Electron' is a flower farmer favorite 😍 Wishing you lots of sweet william blooms next spring! Have a lovely weekend 💚🤗💚

I just purchased sweet white and boltedtolz mix. I'm going to plant a mix on in spring.. don't have enough room in fall🌻
@LayneAngelo Жыл бұрын
Yay - both excellent choices! 🙌 'Bodestolz Mix' has such a gorgeous assortment of colors, and 'Sweet White' is a stunning pure white shade. Both are first-year flowering with no vernalization required, so they are great selections for planting in very early spring! Thanks so much for sharing what you are growing, and have a wonderful weekend 💚🥰💚

I wasn’t able to start these in the fall (I hadn’t found you yet!). I have several starts going and I’m curious how early I can plant sweet william outside in the spring? I’m in zone 8b.
