What format do I need to play my music from my USB sticks. Currently I have MP3 format, so will that format work or do I have to convert to some other format like wave? Thanks

Did u notice any sound difference betwen dlna streaming and usb ?

I haven't really played with DLNA because of one specific issue. What I normally do is use the receiver with an optical input from a TV, USB, and radio. The problem with DLNA is that this unit is 2.4 GHz and the places I'm renting at have really cheap dual-band routers that use the same Network name for 2.4 & 5.0 GHz. Most 2.4 GHz devices including this unit are unable to login to the network on these cheap receivers and if you have separate 2.4 & 5.0 GHz networks the devices on each frequency can't see each other. So, if you want DLNA you will want to hardwire the Ethernet, use a wifi extender, or experiment with good dual band routers. The iphones & ipods I have are old and won't play FLAC with is frustrating plus they do a weird shuffle of some albums so USB is preferred. There is also the charging overload issue if your device isn't 100% charged.

1. has a phono input. 2. avail in the US - in the far superior silver = YES. question does it have the same audio system - transformers, capacitors etc as the Yam. integrated amps or did they cut costs for the digital ( crap)
