Places like these are the coolest.I would tip them ALOT just for the experience.Its like a little communal gathering place of 5 or 6 huddled together,talk,eat fantastic food and keep out of the rain.TY for showing us these fantastic videos.I bet they have the regulars that bump into each other every night.Such a warm feeling.❤❤❤

Thanks so much for watching and the kind comment! There is no tipping culture in Japan, so they would probably be embarrassed if you tried to tip, and decline. But yes, it absolutely is the greatest place to get together, enjoy food & drinks, and experience the local culture! And regulars are often really kind and share information if you are not from the area, so it's also a great place to get intel when traveling!

You understand the lady very well. You could read between the lines. You know her from small talk. Her character of caring for others before herself is attractive to many people. I totally agree with you. Excellent movie, good job!!

I love all these videos, I don't think I'll ever get to Japan in my lifetime though this is another great one showing the characters that work so incredibly hard every day at their YATAI stands. I am also shocked to see something I don't think I have spotted before on your videos - not 1 but 2 pieces of rubbish in the street in Japan @00:37
@こりす-m7c Жыл бұрын
I looked for trash but could not find it. It could be fallen leaves.

@こりす feels wrong to point out, but 2 different bottles on the floor outside the shop front. One of the things I love about Japan is the social responsibility to keep everything clean and tidy

📍There is address of the stall below 📍 bit.ly/3VidJC1
First questions that come to mind: Who is the man helping her set up her yatai? And who is the gangster collecting protection money at 4:16? That exchange clearly was not that of a delivery we saw in other yatai's for the delivery of ice or alcohol.

How do they wash dishes when they run out of clean ones?
@Japanesefoodcraftsman Жыл бұрын
Most yatai have a sink in their stall and connect it to the water tabs prepared for them! We don't show it much in the videos (since washing dishes is not the most interesting thing to show), but around 1:51 you can see that there is a water tab in the shelf the owner is installing!
