How long does it each subject take? And do you think spelling can be done independently?

15 mins give or take a few mins for each subject. Spelling can be done independently in 3 of the 5 days. Day 1 is a pretest and day 5 is a test.

I really appreciate this video! My son is very gifted in math but struggles with language arts. I definitely think this would be a good fit for him. Because he is almost finishing with his first grade year, do you think it would be ok to get grade 2? Or should we start with grade 1 and maybe work through at a quicker pace? We do homeschool year round. Thank you for sharing your years of wisdom with newbies like myself 💜

I would recommend starting with grade 1 and going at a quicker pace. Level 1 starts a great foundation for level 2 to start on.

Seriously consider winning with writing and growing with grammar for next year. About how long does it take for your kiddos to complete the lessons?

About 30 mins for Growing with Grammar and about 30-45 mins depending on what is required for Winning with Writing and those are long days. Sometimes it is shorter.
