The camera turning around the character as they run; the sync on dodging over, under and through obstacles; the rapid yet carefully placed layering of multiple cut-ins; both main character's emotional reflections being framed in various items; the incredible and seemless zoom from character to camera lens as that doorknob is thrown; the change from fully coloured to unstable linework and back into a fully coloured BAM frame _my GOD!!_ And yet it's this simple moment at 1:38 that gets me. Run Cycle > Camera Rotation > Split Screen Focus of Face and Feet > Breaking through the Split Screen on the Turn _while Syncing with the Music_ AND the Character Overlaps The Cinematic Border in a way that's dramatic, visually pleasing and an indication of a symbolic turning point in the character's mindset/intentions!!! Absolutely INCREDIBLE. When I heard Snakes start playing I about had a heart attack. I know nothing about this story but you made everything so crisp, clear, and easy to understand without a character even saying a word. That is incredible. Speaking of Snakes, if you haven't watched Arcane yet, I highly recommend it. The writing is amazing. Snakes is one of many bangers that come from that show!

Now that I've played The Stanely Parable your work is 10x MORE IMPRESSIVE JESUS CHRIST. Going from THAT.....to designing BOTH characters..... to the creativity of having Stanely actually try to escape..... to the storyboarding of the fight scenes and just making the story in general....... and then, of course, your animation is phenomenal. On the first (like 20) watches I appreciated your animation, but now I'm starting to realize just how much of a creative process this whole thing was, every little part of it, it's actually insane. Like, the amount of time you must have put in to this. It's so much more incredible and intricate than I ever thought. Like, you didn't just find a game you liked and animated it, you did so much more than that. Thank you.

I didn't know anyone else had seen or heard of Vector. Also, this is VERY original and unique. The animation is almost in sync with the music, either that or it's the music just driving the animation further. It's hard to tell. But this is the perfect example of non-verbal storytelling, using not just the setting and the characters but how the characters interact with each other and we can actually tell what their goals are without saying anything. (Spoiler alert: I might make a video essay on this soon)
