I lost a good friend of mine on that road a few of years ago. You would have loved him. Heart of gold, adventures, and lived his life to the fullest in the best possible way. A true legend.. fun fact: lots of sunscreens that say “reef safe” are really only “oxybenzone free”. if you really want to stay reef safe don’t buy any active ingredients that start with oxi- or sounds similar. zinc oxide bases are your best bet :-)

this!! also, it is absolutely always a good idea to use reef safe mineral sunscreen (not just when you’re swimming). although oxybenzone, octinozate, avobenzone, etc are terribly damaging to ocean systems, they are toxic period! if something is toxic, it is never a good idea to expose it to nature. xxx

I love em. I'm now in my mid-forties, disabled and in a wheelchair (I REALLY want a bka, but that's super tough in it's own right!) I watch to feel like I'm part of the adventure. I could get all jelly, and miss my youth and my strength, and how sometimes I feel I squandered it... But this show does not bring out such feelings. I hope they take precautions and play safe, so they can be around awhile 😄👍🏼

I went to Bumla pass im Arunachal Pradesh, India. There you have no roads as Chinese invasions in the past has made the Government not make any roads, so the enemies will take time to enter the cities. Now it is a tourist spot. Your car will be slanted on the right as it literally moves on the mountain. Oxygen level a very low and altitude is some 16000 ft

They built a new road years ago. This is really just a mountain bike track. It was in the 90s that 300 people died per year, not now.

I biked this road down with my wife and daughter in high school with “Gravity assisted Mountain Biking” in La Paz. The guides were professional and made us feel at ease. We will definitely go back again this year and repeat Death Road again with Gravity! The road itself is a lifetime experience definitely one for the bucket list for anyone who rides a bike or someone who just loves the outdoors.

there are roads in Nepal that are higher up, muddy, on the edge of a cliff, and a foot narrower, and people have to take coach buses to go through them.

They are also covered by both more and less dirt. They are are both Higher AND lower. They are hotter, colder, more slippery... In Nepal we literally have a Bolivia and it is more Bolivia with more Bolivians than the Bolivia you call Bolivia. And we fly airplanes down service roads filled with newborn babies.
