When I do not go in I do weight training, I follow the lessons of Yin Yoga. Taking advantage of a bad back pain I tried to follow this class, but already at the first pose I had incredible pains and I had to leave. As soon as I get a bad back, I'll do this class

I have a tic disorder and I am constantly so tense in my shoulders, this helped so so so much I can't even tell you. I'm gonna keep doing this routine a couple more times in the next week cause I'm not entirely un-tense yet but I still haven't felt this relaxed in a WHILE. I even fell asleep toward the end!! Thank you for the video! :D

Thank you, Kassandra, this helped me a lot with a trapped nerve - but first started with your "low back pain" video, as sphinx and seal would have been too much. Then added baby dragon, forward bend and malasana to this clip - for me the perfect combination. Thanks for the tutoring and inspiration.

Thanks for this! I have a really stiff, weak back that's prone to being thrown out with twists so i'm always really wary about videos like this because I have damaged myself a few times from other videos, but this was great! I've never seen variations for sphynx or thread the needle before and they were so helpful! saved to my favs!

I find that this yoga video is challenging to me as I have hyper mobile joints. When in thread the needle or puppy pose, I have not yet found a way to get comfortable and stay in these poses. While trying to do either of these two poses, my face is either smushed into my yoga mat and I can’t breathe or my neck is bearing the weight while trying to do thread the needle. Any suggestions or advice that you could offer to help me with these poses? Are there alternate poses that work the same areas? I love practicing yoga with you and have been doing yoga with you for over two years now and those are the two that really make it challenging. Thanks for posting such great practices. I know when I step away from my mat, I am ready to face my day.

Hi Leanne! Great questions - have you tried supporting your face/head in those poses with a block or blanket or pillow? Anything that gives you a little more space to breathe rather than smooshing your face into the mat...let us know, we'd be happy to help more if possible!

Hello Kassandra, I tried this routine, but in puppy pose it feels like I have to push back the weight of my whole upper body with my arms so it doesn't go to my forehead or neck, although I keep my hips stacked over my knees. Because of that, I can't relax my neck or arms. Do you have any tips?

Hi Amit, sorry to hear you got bored in this class! Yin is not for everyone, especially those who get bored easily or have trouble sitting still. You can always come out of any of the stretches early too.
