This 40 min yoga class for increased flexibility includes a number of postures held for approximately 5 breaths each, which allows time for a wide variety of postures. I offer a number of options for different levels of flexibility so you can practice this class regardless of where you are on your journey to greater flexibility. Straddle splits, cow face, heron, half hero/lotus twist, tortoise, frog, butterfly, compass, down dog twist, wild thing, pigeon variations, splits, wheel and MORE are included in this class.

So many amazing poses I've never done before mixed in with some of my faves! 😍 Since you mentioned you don't have a yin video...maybe? For now, if I feel I need a longer hold I'll stick with pausing the video.😉 Amazing, thanks!

You always impress me with your deep stretch classes! The poses that you choose and the order that you do them always gets to my muscles in a way nothing else does. Please do more of them :) Fast like this one or slow like your yin-inspired, I love them all!

Love this kind of stretch in the morning I need to modify the split @34:51 Saturday 3-12-2022 I need to restart the stretch for round 2 I am back 2-11-2023 Saturday and need to modify the poses @34:31

Hi ERin I seriously struggled with this session. Despite practicing yoga daily, (for 3 years for 1/2 to 3/4 hr) I am getting more and more stiff. This may be due to being in the winter here in UK and also I am 65. This has been happening quite a lot over a period of time. I try to move with it and accept it. However it has got to the point now where I feel very discouraged. Whilst some poses as with everyone are easier and more accessible to me I am not feeling the benefit of yoga int he way I used to. (I don't experience my body becoming more adept with the asanas). Might you have any suggestions? Many thanks and Love ***xxx

Good morning Erin! Today is my rest day. I did this routine before and just did it again! I'm not nearly as flexible as you and still cannot do the mermaid and few other poses but did my best. Legs feel so good! I always appreciate so much your clear instructions! Thank you so much for this and all your yoga classes! Have a wonderful day! :-)

This was great, so many positions! Couldn't do all of them but was able to modify when needed. Nice length of time in half hero too 🙂

Hi Erin, I am REALLY NOT FLEXIBLE and would like to work on that. For instance, in videos when you sit with your legs crossed, clasp your hands behind your back, bend forward and bring your hands up over your head ... well I can't get anywhere near that :) My hands stay down near my back. My leg flexibility is also lacking hahaha. Which video would you suggest to start working on that? I work at a desk all day .. so I think stretching and working on flexibility would be a great thing. Thank you for all you do. I love love love your videos !!!Carolyn

Intense in a different way. Great for anyone after leg day/marathon training and looking to hit poses on the floor for additional support. The cow series had my hips asking me some questions for sure!

I will be honest I don't do the entire stretch class but I just sit there on the floor and just take deep breaths while listening to you speak about yoga like and I feel so relaxed and refreshed, thank you I have started to feel more energetic during the day because of just taking deep breaths for like ten twenty minutes

This is one of the best classes! I feel so great and loved doing heron pose, which is a pose I always forget about. I typically enter gomukasana from pigeon so it was nice to have some freshness in that pose, and to do it near the beginning of class.

Great class even though trying to get leg straight in compass pose had me feeling a bit defeated. As for tortoise, forget it! 7 years of yoga but still have such tight hamstrings! It's alright though. I am happy with where I'm at.

Good morning Erin! I just did this routine at 5:15am! I could not do some of the poses as I am not as flexible but I did my best! One of them was the mermaid pose... that was so hard! VERY hard class for me today ... I should have warmed up more, (maybe a half dozen sun salutations) as my muscles are really tight ... could be something to do with the fact an inch of snow has fallen in the last half hour!! Haha! It's COLD (even with the heating on!!!!!!) Greetings from North London!! (Maybe do a snow salutation class :-)???)

Hello, your classes are amazing and I really thanks you for this contribution. Your videos are now an important part of my daily routine. Suggestion: It would be amazing that each video ends with a couple of minutes of silence or any relaxing music for our shavasana. Because youtube channels are on loops, it is stressfull to hear adds or another yoga video starts. Or we have to get out of the shavasana pose to end the video and it breaks a bit of the experience. Thank you so much again for the amazing classes.

Hi! I experienced the same issue! Did you know you can turn off "autoplay"? It took me a minute to figure it out. It was totally worth it! Much more peaceful shavasana! Namaste!

wonderful, as usual. I love how the left split came first; that never happens, so i did not even get that sense of "I can't do the other side" so I went into it with no expectations and It felt really good. Also, I heard that if I watch the entire ad prior to the video it helps support the channel. Is that true? because I will do that everything I can to support access to your channel. Namaste
