Thank you, Ash. Did this after a couple of days off, as we'd been travelling around looking for a new house, and I didn't feel the roads where we stayed were safe to run on. So glad I did something.

Really enjoyed this video! I wouldn’t even worry about getting mixed up with the left and rights when you’re explaining the side to do it on. I’m more listening to what you say and only looking at how you do the specific movement initially. If you’re really worried about it, just mirror the video in post-production. Keep this up, you’re helping me prepare for my first ever triathlon here in Melbourne Australia!

Great burn. Felt my body shaking trying to hold those isometric poses. Definitely a worthwhile rest day routine. Going to couple this with your calf stretch video. Calves are very tight today. Thanks!

Hi Ash. I have been running for almost a year this time and also do a daily yoga practice. I have been told that runners need to incorporate strength training into their week and I did start a programme at home but I lost interest. Is it okay to just do yoga instead but use more strength oriented practices to benefit my running? I'm 57 :) PS I am really enjoying your videos too!

Thanks for sharing your running journey Jacqui. Yes, absolutely substitute for strength based yoga, this is what I mainly do. When holding balance or strength poses that is known as isometric holds and they are some of the best forms of strength training, hope this helps 😀 thanks for commenting to let me know 🙏
