Thank you, Ash! This is my favourite sequence. I had issues with my knees and feet (plantar fasciitis) as I transitioned from 10 miles to a half marathon. The stretching I was doing simply wasn't enough. But three weeks of regular yoga exercises from your channel fixed things for me. So thanks for this amazing channel!

Love this. I’ve been running a lot for the last year or two, but only in the last 3 weeks i’ve had knee pain. Found this video and done it a few times and its helped. Also love the fact you’re a Yorkshire lad (I miss this accent now that I live in the alps).

Hey Ash!! Thankyou for another great video! I have only recently started running and have really been enjoying your videos after my run as a way to stretch, relax and recover. I love how you emphasise the importance of recovery, especially as I have had a few knee injuries and am trying to keep them as healthy as possible! I was wondering if you’d be able to make a few more warm up videos - especially anything that will target the muscles around the knee to support it through my run. ☺️

Glad it was helpful! Great work doing the strength work needed to help your knee. Also, maybe look at your running form as that’s a big contributing factor to runners knee too. Heel striking contributes to big impacts at the knee so we try to avoid that if we can with some form tweaks.

You're very welcome as always Brian, thank you too for commenting such kind words 😊🙏 it’s really put a lot into perspective for me that book and I’ve stopped getting bogged down in all the other health information out there and just keep it simple. Eat well, improve VO2 Max, strength train, get outdoors, breathe, meditate, nurture relationships in your life, get into nature and try to rest well don’t let stress build up too much. That’s my focus!

Thank you for this practice. This is a big help as I have been trying to learn more about my body and how muscle development aids in running. As we age, we can no longer just run more miles to run better. Strength training and your videos have been a great help in remaining injury free..

Thanks so much for this video Ash. I suffer with runners knee on my right hand side due to glute weakness and these exercises really got it firing. I’ll be adding this to my yoga routine. Fantastic help to us runners as always.

Thanks Ash! Another awesome yoga workout!!💜 A little tough but I know beneficial! Added this on to your Flexibility Boost Post Run stretch after my morning run. Today's run was a challenge 😥 but I completed as best I could. Refuse to get discouraged during 'my comeback'--and knowing one of your videos awaits after my run is encouragement to do my best!🙂

You're so welcome as ever Doreen, this one is definitely on the tougher side but it’s good to check your progress against. when you notice it feels slightly easier or your balance has improved that’s how you can see your progress 👍🏻 we have challenging runs all the time so it’s good you completed it as best you can, you have a great mental strength 😊🙏

I usually don't comment on yoga or exercise videos. But man, you are so nice. I was ill for three weeks and couldn't go for runs. In 4 weeks I am running my first marathon and I jumped back in after being ill and hurt my knee really badly. I really hope your videos can help me. Thanks anyways, really enjoyed it.

Thanks Ash, I’m halfway through the last week of C25K and added these onto my cool-down stretches. When my knees and glutes stop crying they’ll thank you I’m sure 😂 Seriously though, they’re great!

Yes I can Wyn, these strength videos are going to improve your balance and glutes which stabilise your hips and generate power as you run. @@RunBetterwithAsh Yeah - I've being doing some high cadence striding to help with the latter. Feels weird at first as I love the flowing feeling of longer, slower strides. I'll keep working on it though

@@ColinCadden yes it always feels odd, thats a regular thing that happens with my clients, maybe start by increasing your cadence 5% of what it was. This feels more natural than jumping to 180spm from something in the 160s.
