Hi Ally! I just wanted to thank you for this collection of yoga nidra meditations, it's an invaluable resource. I learned about NSDR practice from listening to Andrew Huberman's podcast, and searched out NSDR videos to help compliment other longevity protocols I'm experimenting with. I've never enjoyed meditating, so I didn't expect much. I found your collection and I love your approach, it's the first one that has successfully helped me to practice mindfulness. I make time for it almost every day now. 🤩

Usually, I do one of your yoga nidras before getting up in the morning, they let me start the day relaxed, peaceful and positive. Sometimes if I didn't have enough time in the morning, I'll do one in place of an afternoon nap. That's what I picked this Nidra for today, feeling kinda tired. I could feel by body completely relaxing, my mind staying present and awake the entire time and now I'm feeling completely recharged! I'm amazed. This is really powerful. I'm used to feeling relaxed and ready afterwards but not energized like that! Could it be the imagined alternate nostril breathing that made the difference? I'm in awe. Thank you so much, Ally.

I did this one again this morning. Comforting. I went deep through slower and slower brainwaves, from dreamy, to deep sleep and perhaps even turiya, though I'm never quite sure. Deeply comforting and peaceful. Thank you, namasté 🙏

Ally, this was absolute gold - my favourite to date. It is a perfect grounding and orienting exercise for trauma and useful for anxiety with the alternate nostril breathing in the middle. Please do more for trauma if you can, I'm sure it would help many people. And in the meantime, thank you and love from Chile ❤

You're so welcome! It's very normal to feel sleepy during yoga nidra at first. Trusting the body to know exactly what it needs and sometimes if we are overtired, the body needs to sleep. It's still very beneficial to practice even if one falls asleep also! :)

Hahahaha Awe I love you. If you fall asleep, you can trust your body that it knows what it needs :) Also, practicing more often will get you the rest that you need, even if you fall asleep each time, eventually you will likely catch up on your sleep deficit and be able to stay "awake and alert" - this is when you know that you are truly "well rested" :)

Hi Carey, I have actually started making "voice only" recordings for this exact reason. Everyone hears differently and actually it greatly depends on the speakers that each person us using also.
