Treatment for cancer can affect bone density and lead to a weakening of bones. When we stimulate the bones by applying any pressure to the bones we stimulate the osteoblasts ( bone building cells). In yoga we stimulate bones anytime we stretch or put weight on an area of the body. Come and learn some tools to help build bone strength in targeted areas of the body and learn some simple poses you can do at home daily to stimulate your bones.

So please be mindful that taking part in this yoga session is your responsibility and if you need to miss out exercises that you've been told not to do or if you don't feel comfortable in doing then just join back in when you feel comfortable. However, we hope that everyone will feel confident to join in at least most parts of it. Just make sure it is safe for you throughout.
